Hi!
Welcome to your sacred verse.
This poem explores the space between thoughts,
The beauty in stillness,
And the miracle of life unfolding around us.
I invite you to close your eyes,
Breathe gently,
And let the rhythm of these words reconnect you to wonder,
To nature,
And to the divine within.
The silence within me could be misunderstood for a block of creativity,
Nothing under the hood.
I could force it and push,
Pulling words from my brain instead of allowing them to pour on the paper like rain.
So I sit and I wait and I think of a river meandering along life's majestic mirror.
Sometimes eventful,
Often mundane.
Days turn like waves linking life like a chain.
Day becomes night,
Night becomes day.
A trustworthy rhythm,
God on display.
Can we rejoice at the simple yet vital cycles?
How nature sustains us in her infinite spirals.
The birds recognize it.
They sing every morning,
Celebrating the sun,
Another day,
Dawning.
Our beautiful blue sphere hurtling through space in just the right way for all this life to take place.
It's a miracle,
Really.
Abundance,
Alive,
Expressing a million-fold examples of life.
A butterfly in a tree,
A rose and a horse,
So many different humans.
This tapestry,
God's discourse.
To love and revere all life around us as the river flows steadily,
Awareness a must.
The mundane is magnificent,
My silence a gift.
Making space for appreciation,
Consciousness will uplift and see all the beauty in every link of the chain.
For we are all connected and God is our name.
