Hello,
My name is Allison.
Thank you so much for choosing to listen to this meditation today.
It's an honor that you would spend your precious time listening to my words.
Going on my little adventure that I'm about to take us on.
So find a comfortable space to relax,
But you can also listen to this audio moving around about your day.
Imagine yourself standing in a beautiful open field.
The air is warm.
The light is gentle.
There is no audience here.
No expectations.
No judgment.
Just space.
And freedom.
Now imagine setting down the versions of yourself you've carried for protection.
The one who worried what everyone thought.
The one who tried to fit in.
The one who carefully monitored every word.
The one who wondered if they were too much.
Or not enough.
Thank those parts.
They were trying to help you.
But for now.
.
.
Let them rest.
Take a breath in.
Notice what remains.
Beneath all the effort.
Beneath all the self-consciousness.
There you are.
The real you.
Take a breath in.
This time,
A big breath out.
Take a breath in.
Big breath out.
Breath in.
Breath out.
Scan the body and soften it just 10%.
Whether you're lying down or moving around,
Maybe just a little relax through the shoulders,
The ears,
The jaw,
The temple.
Notice what remains in the body.
There you are.
The real you.
Maybe this is someone who laughs naturally.
Maybe it's someone who gets excited about certain things.
One with unique interests,
Opinions,
Gifts,
And dreams.
One who has been there all along.
Within you.
Imagine this authentic version of you becoming a little brighter.
Not louder,
Not different.
Just more visible.
Imagine her feeling more welcome.
More at home.
Take a breath in.
Exhale out.
Let your body relax just 10% more.
Soften shoulders,
Ears,
Jaw.
And the temples.
Now imagine moving through your life from this space.
The space of this authentic version of you.
Feeling brighter.
Imagine walking into a room.
Meeting new people.
Spending time with friends.
Asking,
Am I being myself?
Never do they like me.
Asking,
Am I enjoying this moment?
Never asking.
Do they enjoy me?
Feel the freedom in that.
The freedom of no longer auditioning for belonging.
The freedom of simply allowing yourself to be seen.
Imagine sharing your thoughts without overthinking.
Laughing freely.
Enjoying what you enjoy.
Allowing your personality to take up its natural space.
Not perfectly.
Just honestly.
Take a slow breath in.
Slow breath out.
Now imagine yourself surrounded by people who appreciate your presence.
Notice how it feels to be with people who don't require you to shrink.
People who enjoy you simply because you are you.
Notice that belonging does not begin with other people.
It begins the moment we connect with ourself.
We approve of ourself.
We embrace ourself.
That's the moment we stop arguing with who we are.
The moment we allow ourselves the simple pleasure of being us.
Wherever you are,
Place a hand over your heart.
And to yourself repeat,
I trust myself.
I allow myself to be seen.
I release the need to perform.
I belong with myself.
I welcome connection.
I welcome ease.
I welcome the joy of being me.
Take one more breath in.
And a slow breath out.
Feel the quiet confidence that comes not from changing who you are,
But from finally being on your side.
And you can stay here as long as you like.
But when you're ready,
You can return to your day.
Thank you again for taking the time to listen to my words.
And to be with yourself.
I'll see you on the next audio.
