There's a little ritual that I do before I go to bed every night and I really love how it makes me feel and the magic it brings into the next day.
So I thought I'd share it with you.
As I'm lying down in bed,
I hold a small object in the palm of my hand.
At the moment it's a piece of rose quartz that I got when I was in Sedona that I absolutely love.
But you can use any kind of trinket or piece of jewellery or crystal or anything that feels special for you.
Then I begin to travel back to the very first moment of my day,
So whenever I first opened my eyes.
And then I move forward through the day and just stopping whenever I get to moments or experiences that just made me feel a little something,
So brought a smile to my face,
Brought me some joy,
Gratitude,
Just a real feel-good moment.
And then I collect that moment and allow myself to feel it again.
So I'm not there kind of looking for three things to be grateful for,
Instead I'm going back and revisiting my day and allowing myself to experience the feeling of those moments for a second time.
So then this is the fun part,
I begin to turn my attention to tomorrow.
And still holding the object i begin to imagine three moments that haven't happened yet but it's almost like i'm looking back on them like they have happened and i'm lying here again and i'm replaying my day and remembering these moments and offering that feeling of thankfulness towards them so it could be for a beautiful conversation or hearing some amazing news finishing something on my to-do list or even something super simple like waking up feeling energized or finding a little cafe or receiving a beautiful message or laughing,
Like it can be anything.
So you don't have to choose three huge things,
Although you absolutely can.
And you don't even need to know what tomorrow has to bring,
You can even ask yourself,
If tomorrow had three beautiful moments,
What might they feel like?
And then just for a few moments allow yourself to feel into the energy of that question.
There's something really lovely about giving yourself this experience before you fall asleep.
Maybe it is a bit of gratitude,
A bit of imagination.
Maybe you're manifesting.
It doesn't matter what you call it.
I just know for me,
It changes how I fall asleep and how I wake up and how I move through my day.
So if you'd like to try it tonight,
Find something small and special to hold,
Close your eyes,
Move through your day,
Find yourself three things to experience one more time.
And then imagine you're lying here tomorrow night looking back over your day and experiencing three things that haven't happened yet.
Let yourself be there,
Let yourself feel it.
And then place your little object beside your bed.
And go to sleep having remembered something beautiful while also knowing that tomorrow has something more beautiful still to come.
