Hello,
Welcome to this student meditation.
Today I invite you to find a really relaxed posture on the bed or on the ground,
On a carpet or in a classroom.
Just make sure you have space around you.
Lace for an instant and then stretch your left leg very very long.
Push your toes,
Point your toes and release.
Now same leg but extend the opposite arm in the other direction.
So you're stretching your left leg and your right arm all the way,
And exhale and release.
Now let's do the same with your other leg and other arm.
Right leg gets long long long,
Point your foot and left arm goes out in the other direction.
Hands reach out and exhale.
Can you stretch both arms and both legs and both hands and both feet at the same time?
Let's try inhale and stretch yourself like a starfish.
Extend extend extend and release.
Great.
Drop your hand on each side of your body,
Turn your palms up and breathe nicely here.
Let's imagine a little ladybug that would love to take a ride on your tummy.
Imagine a ladybug dropping yourself just right there below your belly button.
And let's give her a nice ride,
A calm ride.
Inhale and move your belly up.
Exhale and let your belly go down.
Let's do that one more time.
Inhale,
Let the belly ride up with the ladybug on top.
Exhale,
Let it go down.
Alright,
One last ride.
Perfect.
Now that ladybug would love to take a ride on some part of your body but you want to make sure you're not going to move them.
And fly all the way toward one of your feet.
Here she is.
Don't move your foot.
Just notice,
Is this the left one or the right one?
Is this heavy or light?
Do you have socks?
Can you feel them?
Do you have shoes on top?
Can you feel them?
Now have that ladybug move to the other foot and notice if there is any difference.
Maybe there is a hole in that sock.
Oh,
It's a little colder.
Or maybe you don't wear socks and you can feel the carpet under your foot.
Just there.
Now watch that ladybug go all the way up to one of your hands.
Maybe the left or the right.
And notice how that hand is doing.
Warm,
Open or close,
Cold,
Heavy,
Very light.
Have that ladybug fly to the other hand and notice any difference.
Maybe holding something,
Maybe attaching somebody.
What's going on with that hand?
And now imagine your ladybug flying all the way to the tip of your nose.
From there,
She can hear you breathing.
Let's hear you.
Here now,
Gently and exhale.
Could you imagine your ladybug going just on your lips?
And you're gonna make her fly away by blowing some air.
Let's do it gently.
Inhale and blow some air out and imagine your ladybug flying away to another child,
To another adventure.
One more time.
Blow air softly out of your mouth.
Awesome.
Goodbye,
Ladybug.
