Hey there.
Thanks for being here with me.
Here we are at Serenity Point,
Which is about 50 minutes from where I live.
And I thought it would just be the perfect spot for us to engage in this exercise that I consider to be one of the most effective anti-depression breathwork techniques I've ever done.
The great thing about this exercise is that if you're feeling depressed,
You actually can't even do this if you're depressed.
And if you're doing this,
You can't be depressed.
So the two are like oil and water.
They don't go together.
So it's a fantastic exercise to snap you out of this state of depression.
If you're feeling down for whatever reason,
Sometimes there's no reason,
Sometimes it's just you're having a bad day.
And this exercise is fantastic.
And even if you're not feeling depressed,
It can elevate you even further from where you are.
So I love this and I'm going to guide you through a short version of this breathwork technique.
And then let me know in the comments below how it affected you,
How you feel after,
And I'd love to know how you found this breathwork technique.
So how it works is you start with a small breath in through the nose.
So you sip in a little bit of air through the nose and then it expands like a cone almost.
So you breathe a little bit in.
You let more and more in as you breathe in,
You expand it all into your body and then you just let it out,
Okay?
So it's shaped like a cone,
So you let a little bit in,
And then whoop,
You let more in,
And then the rest goes out,
Okay?
So we're gonna do this one together.
We'll start with a small breath in.
And in through the nose a little.
And out.
We start with the nose and you can let the rest in through your mouth.
So in through the nose.
And through the nose.
And again through the nose.
Into the noise expand.
Keep focusing on your breath in through the nose.
And visualize it expanding in.
And out.
Start small.
And now.
.
.
And start small.
And out.
Start small n.
And out.
And and out.
And out.
Five more in.
And out.
In.
And out.
.
.
In.
.
.
And now two more in through the nose.
Last one in through the nose a little bit.
And let it all out.
And just sit with yourself for a few moments.
Notice how you're feeling.
And feel the sensations of how.
Much more elevated your feeling following this exercise.
And please enjoy the rest of your day and I hope this has helped.
You're welcome to continue doing this in your own time.
Of course,
Just like anything,
You want to do it in moderation,
But this is a good introduction to it and feel free to come back to this video whenever you need.
Guidance for this exercise and whenever you feel like you are depressed and you need to feel a little more inspired and elevated through breath.
I'm going to go back to meditating here at Serenity Point.
And I want to wish you an amazing rest of the day or night.
Much Love!
Thank you.
