Good evening.
Please ensure that you are snuggled in bed as you would do every other night.
Make yourself comfortable and take a deep breath in through your nose.
Slowly when you're ready,
Exhale.
As you're exhaling,
Relax your muscles and gently close your eyes.
Take note of your breath.
Notice where the breath is felt most distinctly.
Just focus on that area.
Regardless of what has happened today,
You are now ready to put this all behind you and let your body,
Your mind and your soul rest.
Please take one more deep breath in through your nose.
Slowly exhale away all the tension from today.
I'd like you to now think of something in your life that you are grateful for.
It could even be a somebody.
Just have a think about that.
I want you to see this thing or person in your mind.
Imagine it.
Notice how the very thought of that which you are grateful for makes you feel.
Once you've thought of that personal thing that you are grateful for,
Explore how it makes you feel.
The emotions,
The feelings inside you,
How your body reacts.
Take your time.
I remind you to relax your muscles.
Why are you grateful for this thing or person?
Take your time.
Assign a meaning behind this feeling of gratitude.
Keep exploring the emotions that are ignited from within you.
When thinking of that for which you are grateful,
Notice how your body reacts.
You are very lucky.
I want you to take a deep breath in.
Slowly exhale.
And as you exhale I want you to say,
I am very lucky.
Say it again.
I am very lucky.
Now just go back to your breath.
Notice the rhythm of your breath.
Take note of how your body feels.
The muscles are a little tense in certain parts.
Just relax the muscles.
One more time.
Take a deep breath in and exhale away all of the negativity.
This is a new paradigm,
A new chapter of gratitude and appreciation.
And you have a lot to be grateful for.
Have an amazing rest of the night.
Namaste.
