Hey there.
Thanks for joining this meditation and giving it a try.
I can imagine it's been a very tough day for you.
You may have had a lot going on.
So let's take this moment to let out a lot of this tension and feel a little bit better using a few breaths and meditation.
Begin by finding yourself seated comfortably with your back upright in a nice quiet and safe place.
And when you're ready just gently close your eyes.
Notice how your body is feeling in this moment.
Take note of where the energy may be lying.
Is it all accumulated in one spot or is the energy distributed?
Can you feel anxiety or a certain emotion being expressed somewhere in your body?
Are any muscles tense?
If so relax your muscles and together let's take a deep breath in through the nose.
Slowly exhale and let out some of that tension.
Relax a little further as you breathe out nice and slow.
And when you're fully exhaled go back to your body.
Notice which muscles may be a little tense and see if you can relax your muscles a little further.
Again let's take another deep breath in through the nose.
Slowly exhale away more of that tension.
Just let it out.
Relax a little more as you breathe out.
Notice.
Notice how you feel.
Notice the space that you're in.
Notice your body.
And again let's take another deep breath in through the nose.
And now hold for a few seconds and slowly exhale as slow as you can.
And relax your muscles as you breathe out and let go of more of this tension.
When you're fully exhaled take note of the rhythm of your breath.
Notice the pace at which you breathe naturally.
Notice how the body moves when you breathe.
And where is it felt the most?
Through your shoulders,
Your chest,
Your belly.
Have any muscles tensed up since?
And if so relax those muscles.
Relax your jaw,
Your forehead,
Relax your shoulders,
Relax your arms and relax your legs.
Let's take one more deep breath in through the nose.
And slowly exhale and let out more of this tension.
Relax your muscles as you breathe out.
And when you're fully exhaled you may gently open your eyes and welcome back your physical surroundings and I want to wish you an amazing rest of the day.
