Welcome to this five minutes of peace meditation.
This meditation is a brief session for you to take a break from the day-to-day stress.
Please try to find a comfortable position.
You can be lay down,
You can be sitting on a chair,
You can be cross-legged on a floor.
And once you find this comfortable position,
Close your eyes and rest your hands on your lap.
We're gonna start breathing slowly and with every inhale and every exhale we're gonna try to make it a little bit longer,
Expanding our chest a little bit more with the neck in heel and empty the lungs a little bit more with every exhale.
And as we do this exercise we try to focus 100% on our attention to the feelings of the breathing.
We're gonna put 100% on our focus on the action of breathing.
The more we do so,
The more we empty our mind from all the worrying that today is carrying.
And every time a thought come up,
Read it gently with a smile and with the next exhalation let it go.
We're gonna try to bring our breathing to an atonal rhythm now without trying to exaggerate the inhale or the exhale.
We let our body decide what feels right for us in this moment.
But we keep our attention on the sensation and on the breathing,
Empty the mind more and more.
As we do so,
We can allow ourselves to find peace in this moment.
Even though our day-to-day life can be stressful,
Can feel overwhelmed.
We have the right to acknowledge our feelings of struggling,
But we also need to allow ourselves to find peace when we can.
Don't let those feelings define you.
Don't let those feelings be the center of your life.
Try to focus on your breathing and let the natural rhythm of your breath guide you in a state of peace with an empty mind.
And if a question come up,
If a worries come up,
If you remember about the project you're working on or the responsibility you have in your life,
Just remember that all those things that feel as deadline today,
That feel oppressive right now,
In the big scheme of your life,
They do not matter.
In five years none of the things that is worrying you right now is gonna matter.
And you need to allow yourself to take a step back from today and find the peace in this moment.
Find the peace you deserve and allow yourself to be there.
Focus again on your breathing.
Bring your awareness back to your breath.
Take a couple more inhalation and exhalation being mindful of your feelings.
When you feel sweaty,
You can slowly open your eyes and go back to your life.
Thank you for practicing with me today.
