So here is a short,

Sweet somatic practice that I would love to invite you to do right now.

So I invite you to pause for a moment,

Find a comfortable seated position,

Close your eyes,

Take a deep breath into the nose,

Fill up your belly,

Exhale out the mouth.

And again,

Breathe into the nose,

Fill up your belly,

Exhale out the mouth.

If you'd like,

You can place one hand on your belly,

One hand on your heart,

And simply feel.

Feel into the aliveness of your body-mind.

Feel your heartbeat.

Feel how all the organs are doing this magnificent,

Invisible work for you.

Feel how your body is breathing you.

Feel into the sensations,

Whatever they are,

Whether they are pleasant or unpleasant.

Try to simply notice the sensations under physical manifestation,

Without judgment,

Like a curious observer.

And if your mind is active right now,

Just let it be.

Allow it.

Allow your thoughts to come and go without attaching any stories to them.

Breathe.

Slow,

Deep inhale,

Soft exhale.

Connecting to your breath,

Connecting to your heart,

Connecting to your belly.

Slow,

Deep inhale,

Soft exhale.

Feel the sensation of breathing.

Feel how pleasant it is to be alive and breathe.

Take your next inhale into your roots,

Into your pelvic floor.

Exhale softly,

Gently.

Again,

Breathe into the nose,

Deep into your roots,

Touch your pelvic floor with your breath.

Exhale softly,

Release.

Notice the sensations.

Notice the pleasure.

Just in here,

In the safe space of your body-mind,

In the simple action of breathing.

Breathing,

Which is the source of life.

Moving the energy through your body,

Enjoying yourself in the process.

Simply feel,

Be,

Reconnect.

And now think about three things in your life that you're grateful for,

Like really grateful,

From the depth of your being.

It can be anything.

Take a moment,

Count your blessings.

Take one final breath in.

Exhale softly,

Release.

Open your eyes,

Look around,

Smile.

Be thankful to yourself for taking time to do this simple practice.
