This meditation is to connect with the gratitude we feel towards
our past self.
That version of ourselves that did what she could or what he could to get
us where we are today.
Now I invite you to sit down or lay down.
You can do this while
walking or while driving,

Close your eyes.
And now observe how your body moves when you breathe in and when you breathe out.
You probably see your chest expanding or your tummy expanding when you breathe in
and then contract when you breathe out.
And now we're going to take three deep breaths.
Breathe in,

And one more,
Breathe in and breathe out.
And take a few moments to observe your silence within that beautiful,
Quiet and calm space
that goes with you wherever you go.
And now let's connect with that beautiful feeling of gratitude towards the person we once were.
We often connect with who we want to become,
But we sometimes forget about the person
that we were in the past.
And if it wasn't because of him or because of her,
We wouldn't be where we
are.
Mentally,
Offer these to your past self.
Thank you for everything you have done.
Thank you for making decisions,
For facing fears,
For the determination,
The persistence,
The love that you created for us to be where we are today.
I know there were times when you felt scared.

to be where we are right now.
You were the one who had a dream
and made it possible through the actions you took.
Because of that,

And I want to show you that everything you were thinking about,
