Now is the time to settle into your cushions and bedding.
Get cozy and comfortable.
Let's begin.
Know in this moment there is nothing for you to do.
Nothing to learn or understand.
Nothing to acquire,
Remember,
Or figure out.
Nothing to control or change or even hang on to.
You simply get to be free,
Now entering into a zone of calm beauty,
Drifting off to a safe,
Peaceful,
Relaxed state of sleepiness.
Let's begin with a single deep breath inward,
Breathing deeply into your belly,
Allowing an open,
Cleansing,
Peaceful breath to flow in and then flow out.
Take a second deep breath inward,
Breathing deeply into your belly,
And exhale,
Releasing and relaxing a little further.
And now take a third deep breath inward and exhale,
Releasing any additional tensions,
Allowing your breath to be relaxed and natural,
Simply breathing in and breathing out.
With each exhale,
You are relaxing a little more deeply into your body,
Letting go of any remaining tensions,
Contrasts,
Or hindrances that might be in the way of your peaceful and relaxed,
Sleepy state of being.
You are feeling those tensions dissolve now.
With each breath in and each breath out,
Now is your time to set your intention toward relaxation and peacefulness,
Harmony,
Ease,
And grace.
Whatever that looks like for you,
In this moment,
Allowing peace and relaxation to be your natural state,
You can recite your intention quietly to yourself three times if you wish,
Offering gratitude and then letting it all go on the exhale.
If there are any lingering thoughts milling about in your mind,
You are free to let them simply arise and pass away,
As is their nature.

You are surrendering now to a calm and restful state of ease.
Allowing yourself now to enter into a peaceful and relaxing state of calm.
You deserve to be relaxed and at ease,
Safe,

And calm.

Feel your whole body relaxing into the softness of the cushions and bedding.
With each exhale,
You are letting go of your body,

You are letting go a little further into sleep.
Breathing in the soft air,
Drifting through the soft clouds of awareness.
Being with the great breath of life,
Welcoming the breath of life,
Flowing in and out as you.
Day drifting into night,
Mind softening into sleep,
Surrendering to your natural state of relaxation and peacefulness.

As you are drifting off,
Sensing your soft embodiment,
The weight of the body becoming light.
Sensing in to the head,
Allowing its lightness,
Allowing your face to be soft,
The tongue to rest easily,
The eyes to relax in their sockets,
Your lids growing heavy now over your eyes.
Letting your cheeks relax,
Your forehead,
Ears and nose softening with each exhale,
Your lips and mouth calm and at ease.
The entirety of the head relaxing into softness and spaciousness.
Your neck and throat is now softening,
The upper chest and shoulders releasing,
Your arms softening,
The upper arms,
Your elbows light and at ease.
Forearms,
Wrists and now hands,
Each finger drifting off to sleep.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Your rib cage lightening,
Relaxing further with each exhale,
Your spine is relaxed,
Your belly soft and at ease.
Backside and buttocks lightening as you breathe softly in and softly out.
Your hips,
Pelvis,
Feeling them relax now,
The weightlessness of your legs,
The backs of your knees,
Your calves becoming soft and relaxed.
Your ankles now and your feet,
Each toe sleepy and relaxed,
Breathing in and breathing out.
The entirety of your body,
All the organs resting in spaciousness,
Skin,
Bones,
Muscles,
Every cell of your body being held and supported,
Loved by the universe,
Carried softly by the current of breath through the clouds of sleep.
You are drifting beautifully into a safe,
Deep,
Peaceful state of rest and relaxation.
Allowing the music to wash over you and through you as you drift off.
Feel yourself drifting off now into a calm and nourishing sleep,
Held by the night sky,
Whispered to by the stars.
You are feeling ever sleepier and sleepier now as my voice begins to fade away and you are drifting off into sleep.
