This journey is a chance to clear yourself of any stagnant energy or repressed emotions that are causing stress, tension, anxiety, etc. It is a deeply relaxing one that would be great to do in bed before sleep. Although you can practice it at any time of day. It will support emotional digestion, freeing up your precious life force energy so you can focus it on what makes you feel alive and joyful. It includes a Yoga Nidra-esque body scan, yin breathwork, and spacious visualization.

Transcript

Hello and welcome to this sacred rest journey for clearing and cleansing any old stagnant energy that may be lingering from the winter months.

And this will support in cleansing on all levels,

Physical,

Emotional,

Mental,

Spiritual.

So wherever you may be in your bed or lying on the ground in nature somewhere,

Just getting comfortable,

Making sure you have all the props you need,

Something under the knees,

A covering for the eyes.

If you're lying down,

Allowing space in between the arms and the body,

Letting the palms face up,

Let the legs be at least hips width apart and settling into complete stillness,

At least for this first part.

When you find yourself settled into stillness,

We'll take three deeper clearing breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth,

Letting this next exhale soften everything and sink your body deeper into gravity.

On this last exhale,

Feeling your awareness fully arrive here in this moment,

Resting deeper inwards.

And we'll begin with a moment of silence and remembering that there's nothing you need to do here.

Just allowing your awareness to go where it wants to notice whatever it notices with curiosity,

With loving presence,

Letting your spirit rest,

Letting your mind rest and letting your breath be free.

Tuning in to see if there's anywhere that you notice right away in your body that might be able to soften just through your awareness of it.

If there's any uncomfortable sensations that you feel,

Also letting your awareness rest there for a moment and giving it space to breathe,

Space to let the energy shift,

Move and be free.

Bringing your awareness to the eyes,

Feeling the space all around the eyeballs,

All the way to the backside,

Soften and sink deeper.

Maybe an inner smile,

Feeling that maybe in this moment all is well.

Feeling the muscles around the eyes soften,

The eyebrows,

The forehead and the temples,

The cheekbones,

Sensing the mouth,

Relaxing the tongue,

The teeth,

The entire jaw,

Feeling it start to loosen.

Maybe it even subtly hangs loose for a moment.

Feeling how the muscles that subtly opens the inner ear canals with a little more space and softness.

Feel the weight of the head let go into the base of the skull.

The neck releases a subtle lengthening in the back as it lets go.

And maybe there's a sense of loosening in the entire skull,

Feeling this potent elixir,

The cerebral spinal fluid flowing through the cranial bones around the brain.

This nourishing,

Cooling elixir.

The brain softens deeper.

Feeling the right shoulder release,

Feeling the entire right arm get heavy,

Relaxing the upper right arm,

The right elbow,

Right forearm,

Right wrist,

Right hand,

Right palm,

Right thumb,

First finger,

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Pinky finger,

The entire right shoulder,

Arm and hand are heavy and relaxed.

Noticing any differences between the right and the left arm,

The right and the left the right and the left hand.

Scanning over to the left shoulder,

Left arm,

Letting it feel heavy,

Relaxing the left shoulder,

Left upper arm,

Left elbow,

Left forearm,

Left wrist,

Left hand,

Left palm,

Left thumb,

First finger,

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Pinky finger,

The entire left shoulder,

Arm and hand are heavy and relaxed.

Both arms and shoulders and hands are relaxed and letting go.

Sensing the heart,

The sternum,

The backside of the heart,

Feeling the breath filling this entire space from front to back,

Side to side,

Letting the breath act as a cleansing smoke,

Clearing any stagnation here,

And maybe it's a specific smoke that you like to work with,

Sage,

Palo santo,

Sweet grass,

And feeling and visualizing a white color in the lungs,

This nourishing and cleansing white smoke filling the lungs.

White is the color that represents the lungs,

The energy here.

And feeling your spine resting into the support beneath,

Feeling your shoulder blades contacting the support beneath,

Feeling the belly soften,

And letting your awareness drift down deeper into the pelvic bowl,

Bringing in this cleansing smoke here,

Using the breath to move it in and out,

This fresh energy coming into this sacred space,

The pelvis,

Imagining the incredible smell of this clearing smoke,

Bringing in this fresh,

New,

Alive energy,

The spirit of whatever plant or tree you're working with,

Feeling all of the muscles here softening,

The pelvic floor,

The hips,

And taking a couple deeper breaths here,

Feeling the movements from the breath,

The energy from the breath,

Expanding easefully all the way down to the pelvic floor,

And it's opening it,

Expanding it down on the inhale,

Creating more space,

Expanding down and open on the inhales,

The pelvic floor softens back up and in on the exhales,

Just creating space here for any stuck emotion,

Stuck energy to flow like stagnant water coming back into the flow of the river,

Sending an inner smile down to the space,

Sensing the right leg,

Feeling it getting heavier,

Relaxing the right hip,

The right thigh,

Right knee,

Right calf,

Right shin,

Right ankle,

Right foot,

Right toes,

The entire right hip,

Right leg and foot is heavy and completely relaxed,

Sensing the left leg,

Relaxing the left hip,

Left thigh,

Left knee,

Left calf,

Left shin,

Left ankle,

Left foot,

And the left toes,

Feeling the entire left hip,

Leg,

And foot completely relaxed and heavy.

Coming into one very slow and gentle longer breath on the exhale,

Softening everything 20% more,

Sinking and bringing to mind one situation or theme that's been occurring for you in the past few months,

Something that's been causing stress maybe,

Something that might feel stagnant and ready to shift.

Whatever this is for you,

The stagnant energy,

Bringing it to mind for a moment and offering presence to what it is without any judgment,

Seeing it for what it is and even allowing yourself to go into any fears that are connected to this situation or pattern,

Letting yourself go to even a worst case scenario,

Connecting to the deepest layer of this fear or concern,

Connecting to the emotion that feels at this deepest layer and taking one very long slow breath,

Allowing any charge here organically organically start to dissipate.

And regarding this situation,

Connecting to one thing that does feel resonant and true for you and slowly bringing your hands to your belly,

Letting the two pointer fingers rest in the navel center,

Letting the hands be soft and relaxed on the belly,

Letting your breath be free here,

However it wants to breathe,

Just witnessing it,

Giving it space,

Space to process and digest whatever this energy is for you.

All it needs is space,

Feeling the comforting,

Healing energy from your hands and connecting again to whatever plant or tree spirit you're working with,

With their offering of a cleansing smoke,

Coming into three very slow and subtle breaths just in the belly,

Breathing into your hands and letting this clearing,

Healing smoke fill the belly.

And after the third exhale,

Letting your innate breath,

Natural breath response,

Come in and clear,

Release any of the stagnation and coming into two slow breaths,

A full complete breath with gentleness and ease,

Whatever that feels like for you,

Letting it expand up into the rib cage and the heart center,

Softening open,

Receiving this life force energy.

At the bottom of the second exhale,

Letting go,

Letting the natural breath come in.

This innate breath is guided by this divine intelligence that is within prana,

This life force energy that is carried in through the breath.

The breath is the vehicle offering a prayer to this divine intelligence,

Whatever that means for you,

Feeling this newfound sense of space that you might sense within you,

This fertile soil,

And maybe feeling a sense of trust of what is to come.

Wishing you peace,
