Welcome.

Taking any other movements here to get a little more comfortable.

Making sure you have everything you need,

A blanket,

Something to cover the eyes maybe,

A pillow under the knees.

Allowing space in between the arms and the body.

Feeling energy flow under the arms.

Let the legs be at least hips width apart with the toes splaying outwards.

Allow your palms to rest up.

And we'll begin here with a moment of silence.

We'll start with three deep clearing breaths.

Maybe this feels best in through the nose,

Sighing it out the mouth.

Allow anything from your day,

Your week to dissolve or be set aside on your exhale.

Permission for these next 20 minutes to just be and rest.

And when that feels complete,

Coming into gentle,

Soft nose breathing.

Remembering the subtler the breath,

The deeper the work.

Allowing your eyes to soften deeper into their sockets.

Feeling a gentle inner smile in your eyes as if they're floating weightlessly in water.

Relaxing the eyebrows,

The forehead and the temples.

Feeling all of the face muscles loosen,

Relaxing the mouth and the jaw.

Feeling the weight of your head starting to rest deeper into the base of your skull.

And there's a subtle lengthening in the back of the neck as it releases deeper.

Feel your shoulders melt down towards the earth with your arms feeling heavy.

Your hands feel soft,

Relaxing the palms,

The fingers.

Bringing your awareness to your spine,

Gently breathing space into it.

Feeling it unwinding down into gravity,

Creating more space for the breath.

And noticing your belly softening,

Releasing any holding here.

Gently expanding on the inhale and slowly contracting on the exhale,

Softening.

Let your breath feel easy,

Natural.

And down into the pelvic floor,

Feeling this muscle gently release.

All of the muscles here that make up the pelvis,

Softening them.

The hips and the glutes gently release.

Noticing how as the pelvis releases,

There's a subtle lengthening in the thighs.

Let your thighs feel heavy.

Feel the weight of the knees release,

Softening the calf muscles.

Relaxing the soles of the feet and the toes.

On your next few breaths,

Feel everything let go 20% more.

Down into the earth,

Feeling your energy merging with the earth's energy.

Prana is the life force energy,

Permeates all things.

The intelligence that turns one single cell into a human,

That turns an acorn into an oak tree.

That is allowing all of the incredible functions in your body to be operating in every moment.

The heart beating every single second.

The breath is our most direct connection to this energy.

Allowing more of this energy to flow through us in a harmonious way.

And when this energy can flow through us smoothly,

Evenly,

Harmoniously,

There is no disease or pain in the body.

And our potential becomes unlimited.

The breath is the vehicle for this prana,

This intelligence.

It is within us.

It is all around us.

It is up to us how much we let in and how deeply we form a relationship with it.

We'll begin by tuning into our deeper intention,

The purpose of our practice.

And maybe this is just one word right now.

Cradling this intention in a moment of sacred prayer.

And tuning into your higher ideal,

The deeper reason for why you show up here.

The deeper longing of your soul,

Your heart in this incarnation.

Committing to a mantra that you will continue to use for a long period of time.

A simple statement,

A guiding force for this intelligence.

Bringing one hand to your navel center,

One hand to the heart.

Tuning in here to your natural breath.

Sensing where you're breathing.

Which hand is moving more.

Sensing the quality of the rhythm.

Does it feel harmonious,

Smooth and rhythmic?

Or does it feel choppy,

Discordant at any point?

Our breath is a direct reflection,

A quality of our energy flow.

We change our breath,

We change our energy.

And therefore we change everything.

Bringing the arms back to the sides,

Palms face up.

Beginning with three slow abdominal breaths.

Feeling the belly round and expand towards the ceiling on the inhale.

And very slowly exhaling,

Matching the length of the inhale.

Slowing the breath down even more.

Expanding,

Rounding the belly.

And feeling it very gently fall down on the exhale.

Coming into one more breath,

Letting it feel easy.

Continuing to lengthen the inhales.

And at the bottom of your exhale,

Letting go.

Allowing your breath to naturally respond.

Your innate breath.

Let this breath look however it wants.

Let it go wherever it wants.

This innate breath is your natural breath.

Under the directive of this intelligence within prana.

It knows exactly where to guide your breath.

Noticing where else you can soften.

The shoulders,

The hands,

The face.

Two of the main gateways into our autonomic nervous system are the eyes and the hands.

Simply by relaxing the hands or the eyes,

Naturally the entire body softens.

And vice versa,

The eyes are tense,

The hands,

The entire body is more intense.

When you're ready,

We will start the breath in the abdomen.

When the belly reaches the height of the low ribs,

Start to move up into the low rib cage.

Expanding it in all directions where the diaphragm is.

And very slowly releasing,

Emptying.

Coming in again,

The belly rounds.

And moving into the kidneys first in the back,

The side ribs.

And wrapping around to the front.

Feeling a three-dimensional expansion in the lower half of the ribs,

Like a balloon expanding here.

Slowly deflating.

And at the end of your exhale,

Surrendering,

Softening open to the innate breath.

Allowing it in.

Placing your hands on the sides of your ribs at the bottom.

And taking several slow breaths here.

Foundationing here at the bottom of the ribs,

Breathing,

Expanding into all directions.

And feeling the rib cage slowly retract in and down as you exhale.

Coming in again,

The kidneys first,

The side ribs expand into your hands.

Wrapping around to the front.

The inhale merges into the exhale.

Emptying into the natural pause at the end of the exhale.

Letting the inhale birth out of this pause.

Inhale falls into exhale.

And at the bottom of your exhale,

Release the arms to the sides.

And let your natural breath respond here.

Letting this breath feel free to be whatever it is in this moment.

Relaxing the face,

The jaw,

Releasing the neck.

And noticing if there's any times in your life where maybe you lose trust in this deeper innate wisdom.

The intelligence in your body.

And maybe start seeking too much outside.

And this is natural,

So just having compassion if this part is a reality for you.

And asking yourself,

What does it mean to have deeper trust in this intelligence?

This innate spirit.

Stillness is the altar of spirit.

one of the best meditations I’ve done throughout my daily practice this past year and change. the track itself is serene. the music behind the guidance is so inquisitive and ethereal; it holds more than adequate space for the profound notion of intuitive, intelligent function as a way to understand the omnipotence of prana. truth is the reason I sit everyday. my deepest desire is to be one with truth in whatever ways I’m able to. this practice reminded me of how precious a jewel exists within my own lotus πŸ§˜πŸΎπŸ˜ŒπŸ™πŸΎ. immensely grateful for this practice.
