Hi,

I'm Asa.

Welcome to the sweet and simple loving kindness with your pet.

Begin in a comfortable position with your pet nearby.

Gently stroke their fur,

Scratch their head,

Or simply rest your hand on your pet.

Slowly begin to deepen your breath,

Visualizing your breathing in and out of your heart center.

We'll begin our loving kindness practice by sending well wishes to our pets.

Either look into your pet's eyes or close your eyes and visualize them in your mind as you repeat after me.

May you be safe.

May you be happy.

May you be healthy.

May you live with ease.

Next,

Let's turn this loving energy inward,

Reminding yourself that you are worthy of love and kindness too.

Place a hand over your heart and repeat after me.

May I be safe.

May I be happy.

May I be healthy.

May I live with ease.

Now,

Let's send some loving kindness to our loved ones and their pets.

Bring to mind all of the people that you love,

Being sure to include their pets too.

Feel the love flowing from your heart as you repeat after me.

May you all be safe.

May you all be happy.

May you all be healthy.

May you all live with ease.

And then finally,

Bring to mind all of the people,

Pets,

Stray animals,

Wild animals,

All living beings on the planet as you send the following wishes.

May all beings be safe.

May all beings be happy.

May all beings be healthy.

May all beings live with ease.

And take a deep breath in,

Soaking up that loving energy.

And on your exhale,

Sit back,

Take a stretch,

And blink open your eyes.
