Hello,
And welcome to the Gratitude Guided Meditation.
Please find a comfortable seated position.
It can either be on a chair or on the floor,
And sit so that you are completely at ease and pain free for the duration of this session.
Take your time getting comfortable,
And when you are ready,
Elongate your spine and try to sit taller,
Opening your chest.
Once you find your moment,
Begin to lengthen your inhales in through your nose,
And lengthen your exhales out of your mouth.
Begin to feel a deep sense of gratitude about things in your life as we deepen our breaths in and out.
You may feel grateful for something you have,
So bring it into your mind's eye.
Something or someone.
Sometimes we often forget to be grateful for our warm bed,
Or even our breath.
And I welcome you to breathe deeply into your thoughts as you imagine these things that you're grateful for.
And maybe as you exhale,
Whisper to yourself,
Thank you.
If anything else comes to mind,
Simply notice and re-shift your focus back to your breath.
Let's exercise gratitude for ourselves,
Our health,
Wisdom,
Kindness.
Even if you don't believe that you have those traits.
They're there.
And the more we bring it to our attention,
The more our brain is processing this information.
Be grateful for the times you stood up for yourself,
Or maybe for somebody else.
Be grateful for your ability to love others.
Letting your breath just fall away,
And when you exhale,
Feeling your body sinking deeper into relaxation.
Living in this moment,
Currently,
Without obsession about anything else.
Really feeling yourself as you are,
Naturally,
Authentically,
Not as you expect yourself to be,
Or what others may expect of us.
Just being grateful and thankful for who we truly are.
We already have everything we need to make the most of our time here on Earth.
Be grateful for your existence,
Because you are here,
You are present,
And that's all that matters right now.
Nothing else exists beyond this moment,
And nothing else exists after it.
Bring into your mind's eye all of that which swells your heart with love.
When was the last time you truly felt here,
In the moment,
Effortlessly?
Focus on the sounds,
Sights,
Smells,
And feelings.
In this moment,
Right now.
In these next few moments,
I invite you to shift into these next statements I have for you,
And to allow them to come into your mind's eye and to permeate every cell of your being.
I am grateful for this moment.
I embrace each day with gratitude.
I am grateful for my dreams and my desires,
Because I know that they are manifesting right now in this moment.
Every day,
I am more mindful of the small blessings that I should be thankful for.
I am so grateful for discovering my ability to create this reality that I love,
And for this presence that is inside of me.
Each day,
I am grateful for the beauty of life.
I am thankful for every day that I wake up.
And I am giving thanks right now to anything and everything I can possibly think of,
Especially the trials and tribulations that has helped me grow strong and more wise.
Please find the time in your day,
Every day,
That you can set aside a minute or so to fully express your feelings of gratitude.
And by doing so,
You are increasing prosperity,
Not only for yourself,
But for the world.
Gently draw your awareness to the present moment,
And please wiggle your toes and fingers.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and go about your day and your week,
Month and year,
With a deeper sense of gratitude.
The light in me honors and sees the light in you.
Namaste.
