
Morning Primer Meditation

This is a short primer meditation for when you need to ground, activate, and visualize. Following Tony Robbin's primer approach, this is a softer version for first thing in the morning. It will help you inspire your gratitude practice, find clarity in your purpose for the day, and help you visualize and achieve your goals. All with the love and support of Mother Earth beneath you. Good morning and welcome to the new day.
Today is a new start for everything that you need and everything that you want and everything that you wish to bring to your life.
In this short meditation we will explore and set ourselves up for what that day will bring.
I'd like you to take a comfortable seat either on a cushion or on a chair but somewhere where your hips are above where your feet and ankles are.
Sitting up straight but relaxed.
Bringing a slight tuck to your chin so the crown of your head points straight towards the sky.
If you are on a chair,
Bring your feet a little bit closer to yourself as you move towards the edge of the chair so you can feel your feet on the ground and you can feel an active relaxed position.
The first thing we do is take a nice deep exhale,
Pull all the air out of your lungs and a slow,
Gentle,
Deep inhale.
And sigh it out.
One more like that.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Noticing the fresh air coming in and the night time air going out.
Now let your breath just revert back to its natural state but notice the air coming in and the air going out as you keep breathing.
I want you to bring to mind one small thing that you are grateful for.
It could be the coffee you had in the morning,
It could be the coffee you are going to have in the morning,
It could be the sunrise,
It could be a view that you have seen from the top of a mountain or within the small parts of a flower.
Something small but meaningful to you that you are genuinely grateful for.
A moment in your past.
Really feel into what it feels like.
Does it feel light?
Does it feel warm?
Does it feel tingly?
What does it feel like to really dive into that moment of gratitude that you had?
What are you experiencing in your body?
As you start to feel into that,
Start to feel the emotions that came with it.
Simple,
Small,
But real.
Grateful for what you held,
Grateful for what you saw,
Grateful for what you experienced at that moment.
However small it may be.
Now I'd like you to invite an inner smile towards that moment of gratitude.
You even,
Your lips turn up into a small smile that says,
I acknowledge this moment of gratitude.
I acknowledge the feeling of being grateful.
I acknowledge that I am grateful.
With that in your mind and a smile inside or outside or both.
To the sides of your head,
So your arms are out in the shape of a cactus.
As you breathe in,
I want you to raise your arms into the air,
Raise your hands up into the air and open your hands wide.
As you breathe in,
Up and open.
As you breathe out,
Close your fists and pull them back down again.
Up and open,
Down and closed.
Up and open,
Down and closed.
Now we're going to do this faster,
Breathing in as you push your hands in the air,
Breathing out as you pull them down.
Inhale up,
Exhale down.
Inhale up,
Exhale down.
Inhale up,
Exhale down.
Inhale up,
Exhale down.
Up,
Down,
Up,
Down.
Up,
Down,
Up,
Down.
That's it.
Now we keep doing this up and down with the inhale and the exhale.
And now relax,
Placing your palms and your lap facing up.
Take a deep breath in and a long exhale out.
Feel the tingling in your body from the active movement you've made.
Now we're going to do that again,
And this time with some incantations for what you want and who you are.
And then leave some time for you to choose your own.
Raise our hands to the sides of our heads in the cactus and push them into the air.
And down.
In the air.
And down.
I am strong.
I am kind.
I am open to the abundance of the universe flowing through me.
I am strong.
I am kind.
I am open to the abundance of the universe flowing through me.
Now choose your incantations,
Three incantations that set you up for your day.
Now repeat them once more.
And finish,
Placing your palms on your lap,
Palms facing upwards,
And deep breath in.
Feel the sensations in your shoulders,
In your arms,
In your forearms,
And in your hands.
That tingling sensation of the energy within you.
That is you.
That is who you are.
That energy force within you.
Now I want you to imagine three goals that you have.
They might be years into the future,
They may be months,
They may be days,
They may be just hours.
But three goals.
And I want you to really visualize them.
So think of the first thing now.
What is it that you want?
What is it that you really want?
What does that life look like for you when you have achieved that goal?
In your mind I want you to say now,
It is done.
It is done.
It is done.
Now think of what your life looks like at that moment,
Specifically.
Start to build a picture when you have achieved that goal.
That is already being completed.
What does your life look like?
Build the picture in your mind,
Like a movie reel.
What does it look like?
What are the colors?
What are the sounds?
What are the smells?
Now pick another one.
Another goal that you would like to get done.
Maybe it is something smaller,
Maybe it is something sooner.
Now picture it as done,
Finished,
Completed.
What does your life look like now?
What does it look like that day?
What do things look like?
What do they sound like?
What do they smell like?
What does it feel to have that goal completely done,
Completed,
Finished?
Now pick one more,
One more goal.
Small or big,
Near or far.
Something that you really,
Really want to see happen.
And now,
With a smile on your face,
Imagine it being done,
Completed,
Finished.
What does that look like?
What does it sound like?
What does it smell like?
What does it feel like?
Breathe in,
Breathe out,
Feeling these goals are already completed.
They are already done.
Now imagine you have a light that is starting to build from those goals being finished.
Getting hotter and hotter as it starts to grow through your body,
In the core of your body.
Now imagine this white light growing in energy,
Becoming a flame,
Becoming a ball of white light inside your body,
Like the sun.
Now imagine that energy moving down in your body,
Through your chest,
Through your stomach,
Through your hips,
Down your legs and into the earth.
Going down deeper and deeper and deeper into the earth.
Spreading out as it goes down like the roots of a great tree.
All the way down until it connects with the core of our planet,
Of our mother earth,
Of Gaia,
Of the system of life that keeps us alive every day.
Deep deep in the core of this incredible planet we have.
Now feel that light coming back stronger all the way from the core of the earth.
Coming back up towards you,
Up through the roots that you have created into the earth.
Feel it coming back stronger with the full power of our planet and the full power of the earth within it.
Back up in towards your feet,
Into your feet.
Like the roots of a tree back up into your body,
Filling your entire body from the feet upwards.
Filling with white light,
Full of this hot white energetic light up into your legs,
Into your hips,
Into your core,
Into your chest,
Your arms,
Your shoulders,
Up into your neck,
Your chin,
Your brain,
Your whole face and head.
Now covered and embodying this white light.
Now when I count to three,
Imagine this light beaming out of the crown of your head,
Up into the sky and out of all the pores of your body.
In three,
Two,
One.
Now that white light beams out so that you're covered in this white light glowing over your whole body and beamed into the air through the crown of your head,
Up into the sky.
Connecting you to all that is there.
That white light covering your body,
Rooting you into the ground and expanding you into the sky.
Now as that slowly may start to fade,
You notice that that white light is still there vibrating in every cell in your body,
Resonating at the frequency of that white light.
Noting that you still have those roots into the ground and you still have that expansiveness into the sky.
Noticing that you are already existing at the higher vibration of that light,
The power of the earth and the sky within you.
You already have everything you need for the journey.
You are already a powerful agent of change.
You are ready to take the next step.
