ACIM Lesson 277 Prayer

"Let me not bind Your Child with laws I made".
This lesson emphasizes our tendency to create limiting laws and rules that we impose on ourselves and others, obscuring our true nature as God's Child. It reminds us that we are not bound by the laws we have made to govern the body or the physical world, as these are merely illusions. The lesson encourages us to recognize that our true self is free, unchangeable and knows only the law of love. By releasing these self-imposed limitations, we can begin to see ourselves and others as God created us - pure, holy, and unbound by the constraints of the ego.
