ACIM Lesson 276 Prayer

"The Word of God is given me to speak".
This lesson emphasizes that the word of God given to us to speak is "My Child is pure and holy as Myself." It reminds us of our true nature as God's creation, pure and holy, sharing in the oneness of the Christ Self. The lesson encourages us to accept God's Fatherhood and recognize that we have never truly separated from our Source. Lesson 276 The Word of God is given me to speak.

What is the Word of God?

My child is pure and holy as myself,

And thus did God become the father of the children he loves,

For thus was his children created.

This,

The Word,

His child did not create with him,

Because in this Word his child was born.

Let us accept God's fatherhood,

And all is given to us.

Deny we were created in God's love,

And we deny our true self.

Deny we were created in God's love,

And we are unsure of who we are.

Deny we were created in God's love,

And we deny who our father is.

Deny we were created in God's love,

And we are unsure for what purpose we have come.

We need but to acknowledge God,

Who gave his Word to us in our creation.

We need but to acknowledge God,

To remember him,

And so recall our real self.

And it is your Word that I would speak to all my brothers and sisters who are given me to cherish as my own.

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
