ACIM Lesson 229 Prayer

"Love, which created me, is what I am," focuses on recognizing our true identity as love, untouched by the illusions of the world. The lesson teaches that despite the convincing images of separation and sin perceived by the body's eyes, they are mere distortions of the mind and do not affect our true, sinless identity held by God. By embracing this understanding and practicing forgiveness, we can look beyond these illusions and connect with our Higher Self, which is eternally safe and created by love

Which created me,

Is what I am.

I seek my own identity.

I find my identity in these words,

Love,

Which created me,

Is what I am.

Now need I seek no more.

Love has prevailed.

Love is so still it waited for my coming home.

Love waited for me.

I will turn away no longer from the holy face of Christ.

Looking upon the face of Christ attests the truth of the identity I sought to lose,

The identity which my Father has kept safe for me.

Father,

My thanks to you for what I am.

Father,

My thanks to you for keeping my identity untouched.

Father,

My thanks to you for keeping my identity sinless in the midst of all the thoughts of sin my foolish mind made up.

Father,

My thanks to you for saving me from my foolish mind and all my foolish thoughts.

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
