Welcome to Active Meditation A Course in Miracles Lesson 168 Your grace is given me,
I claim it now.
When your mind remains asleep,
God loves you still.
And when your mind awakes,
God loves you with a never-changing love.
God's grace is yours by your acknowledgement,
And the memory of God awakens in the mind which asks God the means whereby the mind's sleep is done.
Today we ask God for the gift that he has most carefully preserved within our hearts,
Waiting to be acknowledged.
This is the gift by which God leans to us and lifts us up,
Taking salvation's final step himself.
All steps but this one we learn,
Instructed by God's voice.
Finally,
God comes himself,
Takes us in his arms,
And sweeps away the cobwebs of our sleep.
Ask of God now to give the means by which this world will disappear and vision will come with knowledge an instant later.
Repeat after me.
God,
Your grace is given me,
I claim it now.
Father,
I come to you,
And you will come to me because I ask.
Father,
Your grace is given me,
I claim it now.
Father,
I come to you,
And you will come to me because I ask.
Father,
I am the child you love.
It is a new and holy day.
Today we receive what has been given us.
We acknowledge our mistakes,
But God,
In whom all error is unknown,
Is the one who answers our mistakes by giving us the means to lay them down and rise to God in gratitude and love.
And God descends to meet us as we come to him for what he has prepared for us.
God gives and we receive.
Such is God's will.
Spend a few moments pondering on this.
In grace you see a light that covers all the world in love.
In grace you watch fear disappear from every face as hearts rise up and claim the light as theirs.
What now prevents that heaven be delayed an instant longer?
What is still undone when your forgiveness rests on everything?
Father,
I am the child you love.
Your grace is given me.
I claim it now.
Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God.
