Welcome to Active Meditation,
A course in miracles.
Lesson 160.
I'm at home.
Fear is a stranger here.
Fear is a stranger to the ways of love.
Identify with fear,
And you will be a stranger.
And thus,
You are on what is your higher self.
Fear remains an alien to the part of you which thinks that it is real from your higher self.
Who could be sane in such a circumstance?
Who would a madman believe he is what he is not?
And judge against himself.
There is no home that can shelter both love and fear.
They cannot coexist.
Say to yourself,
Repeat after me,
I am at home.
Fear is the stranger here.
Reflect on this for a few moments.
If you are real,
Then fear must be illusion.
If fear is real,
Then you do not exist at all.
How simply then the question is resolved.
The one who fears has but denied themselves necessity,
Not knowing who they are,
Uncertain of all things,
That they are not themselves,
And that their home has been denied.
What do they search for now?
What can they find?
Stranger to themselves and find no home.
Wherever they may look,
For they have made return impossible.
Whom God has joined remain forever one.
Hear God's voice assure you quietly and sure that you are not a stranger.
Your father say in your mind,
Repeat,
I am at home.
Fear is the stranger here.
Am at home.
Fear is the stranger here.
Ponder on this.
I am at home.
Fear is the stranger here.
Today we offer thanks.
Christ has come to search the world for what belongs to him.
The one who denies their brother or sister is denying Christ,
Refusing to accept the gift of sight by which their higher self is clearly recognized.
Your home is remembered and salvation come.
Now take a few moments to reflect on this.
I am at home.
Fear is the stranger here.
If you are real,
Then fear must be illusion.
If fear is real,
Then you do not exist at all.
If you are real,
Then fear must be illusion.
I am at home.
Fear is the stranger here.
Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace.
