Welcome to the seventh and the last of the chakra meditations in rewiring your nervous system.

Your crown chakra is located at the top of your head and you can maybe feel a slight indentation in the top of the skull here.

It is associated with your spiritual connection and with your conscious connection to source energy.

When the crown chakra is open and in alignment,

It expresses itself through a deep violet purple color or through a white light.

It is your center of consciousness,

Of your highest potential,

Intuitive knowing,

Integration,

Wholeness,

Of living embodied,

Of living as your higher self.

It is associated with the present moment,

With meaning,

With the bigger picture,

Devotion,

Trust,

Inspiration and unity.

It is your eternal knowing.

Bring yourself into an upright,

Comfortable seated position,

Aligning the head right over the spine,

Particularly lengthening the neck so that you can feel your skull resting and floating on top of the spine.

Allow your breath to gently move in and out of the nose and allow the breath to be subtle and delicate,

Drawing air in through the nose,

Past the brain to the crown and then breathing out from the crown down through the nose,

Inhaling through the nose up into the crown of your head and exhaling out and down through the nose,

Breathing in through the nose to the top of your head and out from the top of the head through the nose,

Repeating a few more times,

Allowing the breath to be subtle and soft.

If this chakra is out of alignment,

Meaning it's not letting energy in,

It can create an imbalance that affects the whole system.

It is then associated with secular thinking,

Disbelief,

Distrust and betrayal.

If this chakra is out of alignment,

Ailments may develop.

Ailments like brain cancer,

Bone cancer,

MS,

Apathy,

Epilepsy,

Chronic pain,

Glandular disorders,

Sleep dysfunction,

Lymphatic disorders,

Nervous system disorders,

Migraines,

Strokes,

Mental illnesses,

Loneliness and isolation,

Existential angst and amnesia,

To name a few.

If this chakra is out of alignment,

Your biological rhythm will be off.

And to bring this chakra into alignment and into healing,

It involves seeing the bigger picture.

It is then associated with insight,

Peace,

Wisdom,

Feeling at one with life and feeling at one with where we're at,

Helping us understand ourselves and others.

If this chakra is in alignment,

You will feel energized,

Inspired.

In alignment,

It will dispel confusion and help you reach your highest potential so that we can trust ourselves and trust life at large.

And just sitting here for a moment,

Connecting to the space above your head and your crown.

Feeling and sensing into this area above your head.

You may notice a feeling of opening or a tingling sensation at your crown,

Allowing the breath to be subtle and soft.

You can visualize your crown chakra opening and see how it responds.

This chakra responds most quickly to thought and to the manifestation of thought.

You can imagine a deep violet-purple color,

Expanding this color to about a foot wide above your head and spinning it clockwise.

Then imagining a white light funneling in through the crown of your head.

This chakra responds to meditation and any practices that involve stilling the mind.

To open and heal this chakra,

Seek out things that inspire you.

Seek out silence.

Question your own thoughts.

Open your mind and seek out new perspectives with a willingness to consider different perspectives.

This chakra also responds well to spending time outdoors,

Especially in mountains,

Observing large panoramic views and observing panoramic views from above,

Having a bird's eye view.

Exposing this chakra to sunlight heals and opens this chakra.

Meditation and gratitude opens this chakra,

As does sound and chanting.

Using mudras or hand positions allocated to this crown chakra opens and heals this center.

Visceral stimulation to the crown chakra,

Like rubbing or stroking it,

May help it open.

Plant medicines open this chakra,

And acts of kindness and love towards yourself and others.

This chakra responds to fasting.

Opening and healing this chakra through restraining and refraining from food or stimulants may greatly enhance the healing and opening of this center.

And any practices that reset the nervous system.

We are made of energy.

And the more we can allow energy to flow through us,

The more open and aligned our primary chakra system will be,

From the root all the way to the crown.

The more we can bring energy into these primary centers within our body,

The more we can feel whole and aligned with ourselves and the world around us.

And taking another gentle moment here to rest in your body,

Feel and sense the energy moving through your body,

From your root all the way to the crown,

Connecting to the space above your head,

And feeling connected to life at large.

Taking your time here to close off this practice,

Opening your eyes whenever you're ready.

Namaste.
