Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and exhale slowly.

Let your body begin to soften.

Now bring your awareness to the center of the galaxy,

A vast cluster of radiant stars,

Brilliant and bright.

Connect with that light.

Feel a stream of white energy moving down through your crown,

Into your third eye,

Your throat,

And pausing at your heart.

Your heart now shines with galactic energy.

Next bring your awareness to the center of the earth,

A glowing core of molten fire.

Connect with that energy.

Feel a stream of red light rising up through your root,

Your sacral,

Your solar plexus,

And meeting the galactic energy in your heart.

See and sense your heart as a sphere of light holding both the heavens and the earth.

Let the two energies intertwine,

Weaving into golden light.

This golden current flows up and down through your whole body,

Connecting you to the galaxy above and the earth below.

Now that you are lit with golden energy,

Take a moment to set an intention for your journey.

Astral projection is steadier when you begin with a clear focus.

You may choose to stay near your body,

Explore a place you know well,

Or open to an astral space that calls to you.

Hold this intention gently.

Now call in your protection team,

Whomever that is for you.

Your guides,

Your higher self,

Archangel Michael,

Your ancestors,

Or your galactic allies.

Invite them to stand around you now,

Holding you in safety.

So that you are protected and supported for this journey.

With that support in place,

Bring your attention back to your body.

Begin softening the muscles in your forehead and your jaw,

Relax your neck and shoulders,

Your arms and chest,

Your abdomen and back,

Soften your hips,

Your thighs,

Your calves and feet,

All the way down to the tips of your toes.

If you feel any tingling,

Just simply notice it and let it pass.

Your physical body grows heavy,

Still,

And calm,

To your energy body,

The part of you that is light and subtle.

Keeping your physical hand still,

Allow your energy hand to lift.

With your inner sight,

Look at it.

Does it glow,

Shimmer,

Or look the same as your physical hand?

Move it gently from side to side,

And notice the sensation of movement without muscles.

Now allow your other energy hand to lift.

See both before you.

Interlock the fingers.

Notice how this feels.

Lighter.

Freer.

Different from your physical hands.

You now know that your energy body can move apart from your physical body.

When you are ready,

Allow your energy body to rise a little more.

You may feel as though you are standing,

Floating upward,

Or simply becoming weightless.

There is no effort.

It is completely natural,

Like drifting to sleep.

Let yourself drift toward the front of the room.

Turn and look back at your physical body.

Notice the similarities and differences between your energy body and your physical body.

Feel the gentle pull your physical body has on your energy body.

This pull always connects you,

Making sure you can return whenever you are ready.

Now let that pull guide you gently back.

Take your time.

Sink slowly back into your body.

And repeat this exercise once more.

Lift your energy hands.

Interlock your energy fingers.

Notice the sensation.

Then let your energy body step or float outward again.

As you move,

Return to the intention you set earlier.

And let it guide your awareness.

Follow that compass lightly,

Knowing you can still adjust if the path shifts.

Explore and trust the experience as it comes.

And when you are ready to return,

Notice the pull drawing your energy body back to your physical body.

Allow yourself to move gently into the room,

Back to where your physical body rests.

See it before you.

And then move slowly back inside,

Sinking in with ease.

Once you're back,

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

And take a deep breath.

And with your next breath,

Sense roots growing down from your root chakra,

Deep into the earth,

Anchoring you safely back.

Take another deep breath and strengthen those roots.

One more deep breath,

And on the exhale,

Know that you are fully present and fully here.

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Really great! It is frustrating to feel so light and ready to jump up and to have my ego cementing me to my body. Any suggestions for exercises to overcome my egos control and fear of this happening?
