Welcome,
Friends.
Find the position where your body can fully let go.
Lying down,
Seated with support,
Anything that feels comfortable.
Let your eyes close or soften your gaze downward Take a breath in through your nose and let it out slowly,
Longer than the inhale One more like that.
In.
And out.
Longer like you're sighing out something that you've been holding on to There's nothing to fix in these next few minutes.
Just notice.
First,
Let's bring your attention to your feet.
No judging what you find there.
Just noticing.
Warm,
Cool,
Tense,
Relaxed or nothing at all.
All of it.
It's information.
Now let your attention rise slowly up into your ankles,
Your calves Knees up thighs.
Wherever you notice tightness.
You don't have to release it.
Just notice that it's there.
Moving up through your belly,
Your chest,
Your shoulders,
Notice your breath moving through the space without changing it And now notice something else Notice the noticing itself The part of you that's watching all of this.
The part that is quieter than the sensations the part.
That is patient.
You've probably heard it before.
Just listen to your body And there's truth in that.
Your body has always been talking to you.
But here's the part that doesn't get said enough.
Sometimes the signal gets distorted.
Stress can make hunger feel like anxiety.
Poor sleep can make fatigue feel like hunger.
A long history of restriction can make your body's voice quiet or confusing or hard to trust at all.
That doesn't mean your body is broken.
It means the connection needs to be rebuilt.
It's like tuning an old radio.
At first,
They're static.
And you have to turn the dial slowly,
Listening for the moment the signal comes in clear.
Sometimes that tuning happens through data.
Through tracking.
Through numbers.
Through paying attention on purpose for a while.
Not because the data is more true than your body.
But because it can help you hear your body again.
Underneath all of that noise.
There's no failure in needing them.
There's no failure in using both.
The numbers and the felt sense for as long as you need them.
One day.
The static will be quieter.
The signal will come in clear on its own.
You're not there to force that day to come faster.
You're just here.
Right now.
Turning that dial gently.
And listening.
So picture that old radio dial in front of you now.
Somewhere on it is a frequency that's just for you Your body's true signal,
Underneath the static of stress,
Of old rules and of old fear.
You don't need to find it perfectly today.
Just turn the dial a little bit.
Notice if anything comes in a little clearer.
Whatever you noticed.
Or didn't?
Is exactly right for today.
So bring your attention back to your breath.
Notice the weight of your body against whatever is supporting you.
And when you're ready.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Let in a little more light if your eyes are closed.
You can trust yourself and still use support.
Both things are true.
And both things can stay.
Whenever you're ready.
Open your eyes.
And remember Until next time.
Never stop growing.
