The 2 minute practice connects us to Swadhisthana, the second Charkra - our Sacral Chakra. As you practise focus on the colour orange and the qualities of flow, creativity and ease. As you sit in Baddha Konasana, visualise a warm glow in the pelvic space. Be gentle. Feel steady. Repeat to yourself 'I allow ease and flow' and carry it with you throughout the rest of your day.

Welcome back.

Come into a seated position,

Bring the soles of the feet together and allow the knees to move out in opposite directions.

If there's any pain or discomfort in the hips or the groin consider placing something under the outside of the knees or the outer thighs such as cushions.

Today's focus is Svadhisthana and as we come into this position Baddha Konasana or butterfly pose we bring awareness to our sacral chakra Svadhisthana.

Its colour is orange associated with flow,

Creativity and ease.

It's located near the spine about in the position just above the pubic bone and below the navel.

You may choose to place your hand there.

Sitting upright feel the spine rise naturally.

Allow the hips to soften and bring awareness into this area of the lower belly and pelvis.

Close your eyes or drop your gaze.

This chakra relates to fluidity,

Emotion,

Movement,

Sensation.

Rather than holding or controlling allow the breath to move as freely as possible here.

Within each inhale let your belly grow,

Feel the expansion and with each breath out allow the softening.

As you do so you may wish to visualize a warm orange glow in the pelvic space.

Gently,

Steadily,

Glowing,

Maybe growing.

There's no need to create feeling just notice what's already present.

Inviting the repetition or the mantra,

I allow ease and flow,

I allow ease and flow.

Let this quality accompany you quietly beyond the mat today as you move through the rest of your day.

I allow ease and flow.

See you next time.
