A morning visualization of your ideal day.
Hi there,
And welcome.
I'm Pam,
And for the next few minutes.
.
.
I'll be guiding you through a visualization of your ideal day.
And a perfect day.
On a day where everything goes exactly according to plan.
Just a day that feels good to you.
A day that moves at a rhythm that feels comfortable and natural.
Except before the busyness of the day begins.
Before the list.
The responsibilities.
All the things you think you should be doing.
A few minutes for yourself.
Get comfortable.
You can stay right where you are.
Perhaps you're still tucked into bed.
Or maybe you need to find a comfortable place to sit.
Whatever you need to do,
Just get cozy.
And when you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
And take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And slowly breathing out.
And again,
Breathing in.
And out,
Letting go.
Allowing your body to soften.
Use shoulders to relax.
Your jaw to unclench.
And for these next few minutes,
There's no variables you need to be,
Nothing that you need to be doing.
Now.
Imagine the day ahead of you.
Instead of thinking about everything that you have to do.
Imagine how you would like this data field.
Scratchy like it to feel calm.
And productive,
Creative.
Connect it.
Rest it.
Or maybe you simply want to feel a little bit more like yourself.
There's no right answer.
Just notice what comes to you.
Now imagine yourself beginning your morning.
Picture yourself getting out of bed.
How would you like to move into your day?
Slowly.
Quickly.
Maybe with some music.
With a warm cup of coffee or tea.
Perhaps you open the curtains and notice the light outside.
What's the weather look like today?
Maybe you stretch.
Maybe you just want to step outside for a minute.
Or maybe you want to write journal for a little while.
Are we catching up on today's news?
Or maybe you simply enjoy a few peaceful moments before doing anything at all.
Picture your morning unfolding without rushing ahead.
What would make this morning feel good?
Now,
Allow the morning to gently move into afternoon.
Picture yourself going about your day.
There may still be some responsibilities and appointments,
Maybe some work,
Maybe some housework for people you need to see.
Maybe there's some people who need you,
Your children.
Grandchildren.
It may be a spouse or a loved one.
An idea a day doesn't mean those things disappear.
Instead,
Imagine yourself moving through them in a way that feels manageable.
Nourish your pace.
Notice where your attention goes.
And imagine making a little room for something that matters to you.
Something you enjoy.
Sometimes it gives you energy.
Or perhaps something that simply gives you rest.
What would you like to make room for today?
And imagine yourself doing it.
Notice how you feel.
And now imagine the light beginning to change as afternoon becomes evening.
The busiest part of your day is ending.
And picture yourself settling into your evening.
Maybe you're preparing dinner.
Maybe you're talking to someone you love or watching TV or reading.
You could be working on something creative.
Maybe taking a bath or a shower.
Or simply enjoying the feeling that you don't have to accomplish anything else today.
What will make tonight feel peaceful.
Now,
Imagine yourself getting ready for bed.
You're looking back over the day that you've just pictured.
It wasn't perfect.
Didn't need to be.
But there were moments that felt like you.
Moments where you were present in your own life instead of simply trying to get through it.
And take a moment and notice those parts of your imagined day.
Which ones mattered most?
Now ask yourself one simple question.
What is one small thing I can do today to make my real day feel a little more like the day I just imagined?
Don't force an answer.
Just notice what comes.
It doesn't have to be something big.
Maybe it's just taking 10 minutes to have a cup of coffee.
Or go on a walk,
Or call someone.
Maybe make a little craft or something.
Or maybe you're just resting without feeling guilty about it.
Or you could be finishing up one thing that's been weighing on you.
Whatever comes to mind.
Carry that one small intention with you.
Now take one more slow deep breath in.
And breathing out.
Begin to notice the room around you.
Move your fingers and your toes.
And when you're ready.
Open your eyes.
Your day doesn't have to be perfect to be a good day.
You only have to begin.
And perhaps today.
You make a little more room for the life that you want to live.
