Hello and welcome.
Today I invite you to relax and spread your wings as you join me on a mindful breathing meditation.
Start by settling in to a comfortable position.
Now take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
Then exhale and release any tension you may be feeling.
Drop your shoulders and relax your jaw.
Allow your breath to find its own natural rhythm.
Notice each in-breath as the cool air enters your nose or mouth,
Then warms as it travels into your lungs.
Feel your stomach expand.
Now notice your out-breath.
Your belly contracts as the air moves out of your lungs and the warm air is then released.
Stay focused on your breath as you breathe in,
Then out.
Relax your shoulders and continue with your natural breathing rhythm.
Breathing in,
Then out,
Letting go of any worries you may have.
Breathe in new,
Fresh energy and exhale old,
Stale worries.
Continue to breathe at your own pace,
Breathing in,
Then out.
Continue to focus on your breath as we conclude our meditation.
