Welcome to my guided meditation,
River of Stillness.
Find a comfortable seated position,
Whether in a chair or on a cushion.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and fully release it through your mouth.
Letting go of your day.
Allow your body to settle like a stone,
Finding its perfect place at the bottom of a clear steam.
Begin by relaxing everything below your navel,
Letting your lower body become heavy and relaxed.
Feel the muscles in your pelvis and legs softening,
Creating a stable foundation for your practice.
Imagine gentle roots extending from your body into the earth below,
Anchoring you to this moment.
Let your spine rise tall like a beautiful flower reaching towards the sunlight.
Your belly is soft,
Your heart is open,
Your shoulders relaxed.
Envision your mind as a serene white river,
Its surface smooth and reflective,
Just as a stream of a river.
Allow your thoughts to float by without trying to hold on to them.
Bring your attention to your breath now,
Observing its natural rhythm.
In.
These are your moments of pure stillness.
When your mind wanders,
Gently guide it back to the peaceful movements in your breath.
Imagine your mind as a calm lake.
Each breath you take sends gentle ripples across its surface,
Soothing the serene.
Watch as each ripple fades,
Returning the lake to its peaceful stillness.
Let go of any effort or striving.
Any need to make something happen.
Any desire to change its moments.
Continue in the rest of your breath.
Notice the space between your thoughts growing wider.
Your awareness becoming clearer.
Resting in natural stillness.
When you are ready,
Take one deep breath in through your nose.
And release it fully through your mouth.
Feel gratitude for this moment of peace you have given yourself.
May the stillness you found here remain with you as you return to your day.
May all beings know the same peace.
Gently open your eyes whenever you are ready.
You can wiggle your fingers and toes and gently open your eyes.
Carry the stillness of peace with you.
Thank you for practicing with me.
If this was feeling good for you or you have any questions,
You are welcome to get in touch with me.
Bye for now.
