
Sound Meditation I Vocal Yoga Class 1 : Hum To Relax

In this Vocal Yoga Class Series, I am going to guide you through simple sound exercises to release stress and come back to calm. This first practice is centered on Humming for relaxation. Please feel free to come back to this recording every time you feel it is of use to you. My approach to sound yoga is not traditional. It is based on intuitive sound practices and growing a personal relationship with sound, just like what we do with food. Sound is information and it has an effect on our body. Some sounds are relaxing, others don't resonate much. Some voices feel good and others don't. It is your own exploration of what feels good in your body that will allow you to put together your own vocal yoga routine, as you taste the frequencies and have a deeper knowing of your body, moment to moment.
