Hello,
Dream travelers,
And welcome to the Story Nexus.
Tonight,
You will be taken on a guided journey into deep,
Restful sleep.
Now,
Whenever you're ready,
Make yourself very comfortable in your bed and gently close your eyes.
Take a big,
Deep breath in,
And as you breathe out,
Begin to relax and release any strain or tension.
This time is for you to do now.
There's nothing that you need to do.
Just listen to the sound of my voice and the music,
And just notice any sounds in your environment.
There's no need to analyze,
Make decisions,
Or fix anything.
It's time for you to rest and regenerate for the next day.
As you breathe gently and smoothly,
Just keep letting those thoughts go.
It's natural for the mind to want to think,
And it's perfectly fine to just notice them and then let them just drift by.
This is the time to be very patient with yourself,
Very understanding and caring.
It's important to allow any judgments to just fade away.
This is you time.
This is time to fill your life energy back up to the top through rest and recuperation.
Having kindness and patience towards yourself allows the mind to just let everything go.
Allow the day to pass away.
As your mind lets go,
This will give you the opportunity to sleep deeply and awaken in the morning feeling refreshed and positive.
As you breathe,
You're feeling stiller and stiller inside.
The weight of your body is sinking into the mattress.
Your muscles are releasing tension,
And your body is feeling very heavy.
Now that you're feeling a sense of inner stillness and inner calm,
You can now allow your mind to travel and drift into dreamland.
As your daily waking consciousness merges with your higher consciousness,
You can see yourself on the balcony of a beautiful country castle.
You are alone.
You're overlooking rolling fields of green and luscious trees.
The sky is blue with just a few white clouds.
The castle itself is stone and ancient,
And has held many families,
Happy families,
Families that enjoyed taking care of others as well as themselves.
Off to the left is a large,
Incredible garden.
The balcony wraps around the entire castle.
You move down the balcony to overlook the garden.
It's filled with every kind of rose you can imagine,
Growing on trellises,
Growing around pillars,
Weaving alongside the path.
The garden is about half an acre in size.
Many of the roses are well over six feet,
Climbing higher and higher along the trellises.
As you look down on it,
It looks like a maze.
The walls of roses forcing those to stay on the path.
There are areas where visitors can sit on stone benches and take in the countryside.
On one side of the garden,
On another side,
There is a large fountain.
In the center,
There is a circle of benches with a statue of the original founder of the castle.
It is hundreds of years old.
He stands tall and proud.
He is signaling victory.
The statue faces down the road leading up to the castle.
You continue to make your way around the balcony of this amazing castle.
As you do,
You see a small group of deer in the trees.
Continuing around,
You're able to see over the treetops and down an endless valley.
This castle is completely secluded,
Miles from the nearest town.
No one comes here unannounced.
And tonight,
You are the only guest.
It's now time to get a closer look at that garden.
You find the stairwell in a turret at one corner of the castle and make your way down the stairs.
As you do,
You feel yourself drop deeper and deeper into your own consciousness.
Your body is very still now.
You're breathing very quiet.
As you reach the bottom of the stairs,
You make your way over to the garden,
Step by step by step.
There's no need to rush.
It's only you,
And you have all night.
The scent of roses is very pleasant.
It's strong,
But not overwhelming.
You enter the pathway,
And you notice how many different colors there are of roses.
From pure white,
To nearly black,
And almost every color in between.
The trellises hold sections of entire shades of rose.
So as you walk by,
All you see are petals of orange,
Or pink,
Or white,
Or red.
Even purple.
The black roses are used sparingly.
They seem to be strategically placed and very artistic.
This entire garden looks and feels as if it's been laid out with clear intention and purpose.
As you walk through the path,
And take in the sights and smells,
You pass the fountain and dip your fingers into the water.
It's cool and clear.
The fountain's made of stone and marble.
At the top is a beautiful sculpture of a woman in a long dress.
She's holding a jug,
And there's water coming out of it that continually pours into the fountain.
You continue on to find the center of the garden.
There's a small plaque on the foundation on the large statue.
It's difficult to read.
It doesn't matter,
Though.
The artist who created this statue captured the movement of wind in this man's clothes,
In the solid metal it was sculpted in.
Every detail is tended to.
Every wrinkle of clothing.
Every crease in the shirt.
Every line in the face and hair on his head are perfectly crafted.
The statue stands straight,
And strong,
And tall.
Clearly,
This was a man of consequence.
It's time to leave the garden now,
And to head back into the castle.
A room has been prepared for you.
You're aware of how incredibly silent it is.
Inside the castle,
The birds and insects that you heard outside in the garden are now completely gone.
There's a huge,
Heavy,
Wooden door that leads to your bedroom.
You push it open and enter,
And look around.
There's a fireplace in there.
There's a small fire going,
And many candles.
The window has huge,
Heavy,
Velvet drapes.
They are hanging closed now.
The sun is setting outside.
There's a large,
Four-poster bed in the center of the room.
It has a large canopy,
And curtains that hang down the sides.
It's high,
And looks overstuffed,
But very comfortable.
There's a small stair step by the bed that you can use to get up onto the top of it without a problem.
Next to the bed is a comfortable-looking set of pajamas.
They smell like lavender.
You're happy to put them on and climb into this amazing bed.
The top layer of the bed sinks deeply until you meet the firmness below.
It is unlike any bed you've been in,
And it's amazingly comfortable.
You pull the curtains shut on either side of the bed.
From your vantage point,
You can now see the fireplace and the candles burning on top of the mantle.
There is nothing but the fire crackle to be heard.
You place your head on the pillows behind you.
It's as if you've been coming to this bed every night for decades.
It is so comfortable,
And so safe,
And so completely still.
It is now time to fall deeply asleep.
You will wake in the morning feeling fully refreshed and ready for your day.
Sweet dreams,
Traveler.
Let it be so.
