Have you ever wondered why life just seems easier for some people?
For you it feels hard and there's so much pain and hurt and you're often found questioning why do bad things happen to good people?
I'm a good person.
Why does this pain keep finding me?
What am I doing to attract this and draw this into my life?
What am I doing wrong?
And the answer is simple.
You're not doing anything wrong.
You are a human having a real-life experience.
Life has hardships,
Pain,
Hurt.
Those are all inevitable.
You cannot make it through life without being disappointed,
Without grieving a loss.
But life only becomes miserable when you resist those things rather than allowing it to flow over you for what it is.
Temporary.
Pain,
Hurt,
Grief,
Sadness,
Loss,
Embarrassment,
Disappointment.
They all have one thing in common.
They're temporary.
When you are able to stop resisting what is inevitable,
You will be able to see what those other people have.
And it is this mindset,
This deep knowing that this isn't going to last forever.
It may change you,
It may alter you,
But you will not stay stuck in that unless you allow it to consume you.
If you feed those thoughts,
If you feed that misery,
Then you will stay there.
But without food,
If you starve it,
If your attention,
If you keep your eyes focused on the realities of life,
That this is inevitable,
Hardships are going to happen,
But suffering or misery is optional.
If you adopt that mentality,
You regain control over these things or you let it consume you whole and it will eat you alive.
Choose the empowered choice to take control and say,
I don't get a choice in all of the bad things that I'm going to experience in life.
There's only so much control I have over these things that are inevitable.
But I can choose my attitude.
I can choose to stay grounded in the mentality that this is a part of the life experience.
I do not have to be defined by it.
