Find a comfortable position and allow your eyes to close.
Take a deep breath in and let it go.
Somewhere along the way,
We forgot.
We forgot that we're not separate from the natural world.
We forgot that the elements that shape mountains and move oceans live inside us too.
Earth,
Water,
Fire,
Air,
Space.
Each one carries its own magic,
Its own medicine.
The groundedness of earth,
That solid,
Unwavering presence that knows how to be still,
How to hold,
How to endure.
The fluidity of water,
The ability to flow,
To adapt,
To cleanse and renew.
The passion of fire,
That life force,
That heat,
That transformative power that burns away what no longer serves.
The freedom of air,
The breath,
The expansion,
The lightness that allows us to move and shift and let go.
The spaciousness of space itself,
The vast,
Intimate openness that holds it all.
These aren't just metaphors.
They're not just concepts to understand.
They're living forces within you waiting to be remembered.
We're not learning anything new today.
We're coming home to what we've always been.
So let yourself settle here.
Let your breath deepen and prepare to remember.
Taking a deep breath in and letting it go.
I want you to let your body feel really heavy as if you can feel the effects of gravity pulling your body to the earth.
Feel the weight of the muscles,
The bones,
The skin,
The organs.
Feeling the physicality of the body,
The physical structure of the body that holds us on our journey in this life.
Also feeling the support of earth beneath us,
Holding and carrying this body.
I want you to zoom in.
We often forget that we aren't just a body,
But we're actually trillions and trillions of cells.
All these individual,
Small,
Tiny,
Microscopic cells,
Each with their own job,
Keeping us alive,
Creating this incredible structure for us to move through and experience life.
We often feel ungrounded sometimes in our life and connecting into the body,
The weight of the body,
The earth of the body is a way to ground yourself,
To center yourself,
To calm yourself.
Connecting with our body on a regular basis in this way can really make us feel so much more grounded and calm.
Now I want you to take another deep breath in and let it go.
Now I want to focus on the water,
The water that makes up the majority of our body.
It's crazy to think that our bodies are made up of mostly a beautiful liquid,
Life-giving liquid that we all need every day.
Can you start to connect to and feel how water is moving through your body and supporting these different systems from the tears in your eyes that keep your eyes from drying out,
The saliva in your mouth that helps you eat and digest your food,
The blood that is pumping through your veins,
The lymphatic system,
This incredible system that we often forget exists just underneath the skin that purifies and cleanses our body of toxins.
Can we tap into our kidneys,
These amazing purifiers of impurities in our blood,
How we effortlessly release through our urinary tract anything that we need to get rid of,
Just honoring the flow that exists within our body where we don't even have to think about it.
The water in the body reminding us to flow,
But also realizing that water has shaped this earth.
Water is both gentle and fierce if it wants to be.
Just honoring the water within.
And now I want you to take another deep breath in all the way down into your lower abdomen.
And as you breathe in,
I want you to picture breathing as if you're stoking the flame,
Stoking a fire.
And every time you breathe down there,
That fire gets a little stronger and a little stronger.
The way we can experience fire inside of us is passion,
Creativity,
Sexual energy,
And attraction and the ability for us to feel into our desires.
What lights us up?
And this part of the body breathing down into our second chakra is where a lot of this energy starts.
So as you breathe,
Can you feel that flame get a little stronger,
That fire,
That passion,
That excitement for life get a little bit stronger.
And now zooming in,
Thinking about the brain,
Thinking about your nervous system and the neurons and the electrons and the firing that's happening,
That is creating chemical reactions to release the perfect chemical cocktail to fuel whatever it is that you want to do.
A simple thought creates a reaction of fire throughout our system to follow the instructions.
And zooming in even further,
All of the electricity that's flowing through our individual cells,
These reactions of creating new cells,
Creating energy,
Taking the nutrients and vitamins from our body and using that electrical pulse to create whatever it is that you need.
And what a beautiful reminder,
The intelligence of nature in the process of alchemy,
The process of creation.
And I want you now to tune into your heart,
The pulse of our heart,
The electricity of our heart that extends feet beyond our body.
So much energy is generated from this fire in our heart that fuels connections,
Desires,
Passion.
We take for granted most of the time,
The power we have within us,
The fire we have within us.
And reconnecting to the breath,
To the air that we get to breathe into our lungs.
Fill up your lungs with such deep appreciation for this amazing cycle,
The cycle of expansion and contraction,
A reminder that evolution and growth of our universe happens through expansion and contraction and expansion and contraction.
That our lungs are just a reflection of that.
And how amazing it is that we don't even have to think about it.
We just breathe.
But what a gift the breath is as an anchor and as a direct connection to the present moment and our nervous system.
It's amazing that all you have to do is breathe through your nose and out through your mouth and it calms your nervous system.
Air and how you take it in has a direct effect on the state of your being and every other system and cell in your body.
And can you feel the path that that air gets to take as you breathe it into your lungs and it's deposited into your bloodstream and that oxygen is used to power all of the cells in your body.
Can you think about how incredible it is that in any given moment,
If you needed to run,
Jump,
Lift,
Work out,
Whatever it is that you want to do,
Go climb a mountain.
And that air and oxygen fuels this process so beautifully powering our muscles,
Our cells,
Our brain,
Our heart.
And that leads to this feeling of spaciousness in their bodies.
So often we think of our bodies as this physical thing.
Can you actually tap into the space in between cells?
If you zoom in all the way in,
There's so much space.
Our bodies tend to contract and hold stress and tension and unfelt emotions and trauma and that causes constriction.
Can you breathe spaciousness?
Can you breathe space into these places that feel tight and constricted?
Feel how much lighter you feel where you almost lose sense of the structure of the body and you just kind of become conscious awareness.
That's the state of the soul of our etheric bodies,
The body that goes beyond the physical structure that extends as far as you want it to go.
Your aura is around six feet around your body,
But can you expand your consciousness even further creating spaciousness?
That's as big as the room you're in.
That's as big as the house you're in.
That's as big as the town you're in.
You're in until you realize you're so big you can hold the entire world.
Reconnecting to your breath now,
Coming back and back and back into this incredible body.
Grateful for the reminder of the elements that make up this incredible system,
This incredible container that allows us to experience this physical world and this incredible opportunity that we have to evolve and grow on this planet.
I hope you found this helpful.
I hope you are leaving feeling grounded in your body with the new appreciation for just how magical it really is.
