Good morning.
Good evening.
Good afternoon.
Wherever you may be.
Whatever you may be doing.
And my name is Thaddeo Mondavarara.
And I'm a teacher here on Inside Timer and host of Stories from the Soul.
Of your own inside time.
And the practice today is.
.
.
One that.
.
.
I know a lot about.
Being wired,
Being tied.
End.
It's something weird.
I feel like I've always had.
The end of the day not having.
Enough of a runway.
Fully feel like you've had it.
Ownership the day.
Feeling rather like youth.
Rented it from.
Work,
Family,
Friends.
And the portion that is yours.
Be it in the morning or be it at night.
The longer you're up just feels less and less and less.
And so.
.
.
This practice.
And let's begin when we begin by just simply finding somewhere to be still.
For this one,
You could be seated,
You could be lying down.
Let your body find the surface beneath it.
We'll start here together.
Let your weight sit.
Whatever is holding you up right now,
Allow it to hold you a little more.
Than it did a moment ago.
And take a breath.
Just one breath,
Not a technique yet.
Just a breath that belongs.
Is owned by you.
However you want to do it.
I am here.
My body knows what to do and I'm going to let it.
Say those words.
I am here.
A body knows what to do.
I'm going to net.
It again.
I am here.
My body knows what to do and I am going to let it.
Let those words just sit.
Let them sit.
Perhaps your body is tired.
Perhaps your body is tired but hasn't received that message.
Maybe you're lying still.
Something underneath is still running,
Still going,
Like you.
Like the body forgot how to stop even after he is open.
Maybe your jaw is tight.
Maybe your shoulders have been climbing toward your ears without you noticing.
Perhaps you are exhausted.
Also,
Wyatt.
Both at once.
And,
I know,
Doesn't make sense and it doesn't need to.
Perhaps you've actually stopped trying to figure out why.
You just know you're tapped out,
But still think still.
Rolling,
Watching,
Reading.
And unlikely hear these words.
Just two words.
Of course.
Of course.
Of course it feels like this.
You've been running on something that stopped being energy a while ago.
And it's just momentum now.
Just a habit.
So we're going to move through the body slowly,
Not to fix just us.
Each part.
At a time.
Willing to set down something it's been holding.
And let's begin.
Begin by closing your eyes.
Close your eyes and simply listen.
And we start by bringing attention to the jewel.
The tinged.
In a tight Even.
.
.
Where is the tension?
Is it at the top?
Is it at the joint?
So much gets held here.
Words that didn't get said.
Days worth of holding it together.
Right now you don't have to force it up.
Just notice.
What's the?
Now allow your lips to part,
Just slightly.
And let your tongue rest at the bottom of your mouth.
Let your teeth come apart,
Even a little,
And breathe into the space that it was.
Feel at release.
Whatever the jaw has been holding.
Give it permission.
To sit down some of it.
And let's move to the shoulders.
Notice where they are.
Layup.
Here is.
Rounded forward like they're protecting something,
Just again notice without changing anything.
And your next exhale.
Give them permission.
And verbalize.
Forcing them down to sled them for the way.
They would.
The way they would if no one was watched.
The way they would if there was nothing at all left to carry.
And continue that.
And let that happen again on the next breath out.
Aniket.
And each time.
A little more.
For little more each time like snow sets in.
Now move to the bed.
For me,
This is often where it ends.
The holding lives the longest.
That will connect with touch and place a hand.
On your belly,
On your gut,
On your stomach.
And feel whatever sits there.
Feel it without judgement.
Accept what is there.
And embrace and open to it.
Don't try to breathe it away yet.
Just feel it.
Feel it the way you'd notice weather.
It was never the feeling that was the problem.
The problem was bracing against it.
Or that effort.
Holding.
Holding a line against something that was only ever asking.
To move through.
Allow the bracing to soften now.
Just a little.
Just here.
Now the hands.
Notice if they are cooled Tense gripping.
Gripping something that actually isn't.
In this tight pinched.
Combs closed like they're still wet.
Desperate in your hospital to hold on to the day.
Connect to the body.
And say.
.
.
Let them out.
Let them rest.
Palms up,
Palms down,
Whatever feels honest,
Right?
Your hands have been holding onto something.
For a long time.
Longer than makes sense.
And mentally.
Emotionally.
Had them put some of it down.
One more breath.
We'll breathe in through the nose and we'll fill up as much as feels right,
All the way to our heaven.
Wants to go.
Through you exhale.
That it goes to them.
Let that exhale be longer than the breath that came in.
Let it be loud,
If it wants to be loud.
Let it be messy,
If it wants to be messy.
And be silent.
Don't control it.
Allow your body.
To express it.
For the breath.
Together,
Breathe in through the nose into where you need it to go.
And just let.
That breath.
A breath is not a technique.
To release.
Your body has been waiting to do that.
Like a PIT.
Watching,
Knowing.
That you're about to do something.
Quilt.
And ready to respond.
That's release.
And your body has been waiting to do that and your body knows the difference between.
Enriched.
And before we move.
.
.
Notice.
Not what you think you should feel.
Of what you actually feel right now.
Let us connect.
To air in your body.
You feel an adrenaline ticking.
What feels diff?
Even slight.
Different from when you arrive.
Perhaps it's the jaw.
As the shoulders.
The quality.
Of this and the next.
Where small it may seem,
It counts.
The body knows what shifted.
Even when the mind isn't sure.
Learn to trust.
And trust the body.
Learn to trust those parts.
Parts of it.
They will guide you.
Let's take one last closing breath in.
And a gentle exhale.
Roll your shoulders.
Bring warmth.
Your body.
Bring yourself slowly and gently up.
Practice.
Feel.
Ground.
Beneath you,
Surface holding.
Feel the temperature in the room.
The sounds.
Gently open your eyes.
Welcome back.
And carry.
Ever just happened with you.
Into whatever comes next.
You don't have to hold on to it tightly,
Just let it come along.
And allow it to be.
Thank you for being here.
The bows to you all.
Take this feeling with you.
Remember that you are seed.
You are enough.
Then you are home.
Until the next time.
