Wherever you may be,

Whatever you may be doing,

Hello.

And again,

You know,

For those who are just joining,

Welcome to this guided meditation.

The aim really is to help transition from the working energy of 2024 into the working energy of 2025.

You know,

I was saying a bit before the official start,

One of the things which I have been the happiest about in terms of like my whole mindfulness journey and how it's supported me in the professional world is the reduction that I have in terms of the attachment to the ego.

I'm sure you'll see it,

It's a big piece of the corporate world and it takes a lot of energy.

And so just really kind of injecting that mindfulness piece and,

You know,

Working with a coach,

I've really benefited from working with a business coach and a personal coach in that working space.

So I'm going to do a check-in every month,

Please do follow.

So let's find ourselves in a comfortable position,

Sitting down,

Lying down,

And let's begin.

So to start,

Let's just take a moment to ground and to center ourselves.

Start by taking a deep breath in,

And slowly exhale,

Releasing any tension,

Any stress.

Deep breath in,

Hold it,

And a long exhale.

Deep breath in,

Hold it,

And a long exhale.

Let's just slow everything down and give ourselves time,

Focus on this present moment.

Just focus,

Focus on your breath,

Focus on my voice.

Allow yourself to settle into the now.

Allow yourself to settle into the present moment.

Allow yourself to just simply let go.

Release any cold thoughts,

Any distractions,

And bring your full attention to your breath.

Just notice the gentle rise,

The fall of your chest as you inhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Allow your breath to guide you into a state of relaxation,

A state of presence.

Breathe in through your nostrils and exhale through your mouth.

In and out.

In and out.

On your next exhale,

If you haven't already,

Inhale,

Exhale,

Gently close your eyes.

Now as you inhale,

Say to yourself,

I am here.

Now as you exhale,

Say to yourself,

I am present.

I am here on the inhale,

I am present on the exhale.

I am here,

Allow this to gently settle and slow everything down.

I am here,

And as we center ourselves,

Let's begin to reflect on what the year 2024 was,

The working year that has passed.

Acknowledge the experiences.

Acknowledge the moments of joy.

Acknowledge the connection we made with our colleagues,

Business partners.

Acknowledge the connection we made with self,

Our teams.

Acknowledge the relationship that we have with those outside of ourselves.

As a result of the energy we put into work.

All while just repeating,

I am here,

I am present.

Now let's look at the rejuvenation that you felt over the holidays.

The new focus,

The new energy you have at the beginning of the year.

Whether you had weeks or days off from work,

Let's just settle into that energy.

Give thanks and gratitude to that time,

However long it was,

To just rest,

Reset,

And recharge.

Bring that energy now into this present moment.

I'll take that energy and use it to allow you to let go.

Let go of any concerns,

Any worries that you have for the first day back at work or the year ahead.

Just allow yourself to fully embrace this present moment.

Focus on all the fullness,

Focus on all the clarity,

Focus on all the moments of authenticity.

Allow yourself to enjoy a break,

Honour the time off.

And let's just give gratitude and thanks to 2024.

Breathe in through your nose,

Exhale through your mouth.

Just feel and see and breathe that energy of gratitude into 2024.

We give deep bows to 2024,

All that it gave,

All that it offered.

And we thank it for all aspects,

The highs and the lows.

Now,

Let's shift our focus towards the working year of 2025.

Let's take a deep breath in.

And as you exhale,

Release any tension that might have crept in.

Deep breath in,

Exhale,

Release any resistance you may be feeling towards the year ahead.

Any concerns you have,

Any nervousness,

Any apprehension.

Just lead and embrace a mindset of openness,

Of positivity,

Of forward movement.

Allow yourself to lean in to the light.

As you prepare to embark on a new year,

Growth of opportunity,

Just repeat these affirmations after me,

Either silently to yourself or out loud.

I am ready to embrace the moments of growth and opportunity 2025 will present.

Use your breath to bring you out of the meditation,

Just take a moment to ground yourself before continuing with your day,

Starting your working year.

Just carry these affirmations with you throughout the day,

Through the year.

Remember your intention for this year.

Write it down.

Then just let it go.

Keep it with you as you navigate this year,

Knowing that you're prepared,

You're capable of creating a fulfilling and successful year.
