And welcome to this meditation.
This meditation is there to help you pause and refocus,
To cultivate calm when there's a lot of chaos around you.
Let's begin.
Inhale deeply,
And slowly exhale.
Allow your brain to slow down.
Inhale deeply,
Hold it at the top,
And then for a count of six,
Exhale.
Inhale,
Six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhale again,
Hold it at the top,
And exhale for six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Now allow your breath to fall into a gentle,
Slower than normal rhythm.
Feel your body start to settle.
Repeat the mantra,
I am here,
I am now,
I am present,
I am here,
I am now,
I am present.
Allow that to enable you to gently slow down and focus in on this moment.
Now as you do that,
Picture yourself in the center of a tranquil forest.
The trees stand tall and steady,
Their leaves whispering calm.
Each inhale pulls in the grounding strength of the forest,
And each exhale releases the chaos swirling in your mind.
Let your breath flow naturally as you continue to silently affirm,
I am here,
I am present,
I am now.
Just let your breath naturally slow down.
And now,
Allow yourself to transition with this affirmation,
I am calm,
I am steady,
I can handle this.
I am calm,
I am steady,
I can handle this.
Now in this visualization,
See yourself walking along a soft dirt path winding through the forest.
Notice the rich smell of pine and the dappled sunlight streaming through the canopy above.
With each step you feel more aligned,
More present,
And more capable of facing the challenges around you.
Just take a moment now to feel this steadiness before opening your eyes,
Refreshed and centered.
Take one final deep breath in,
Hold it at the top,
And exhale.
