This meditation is here to give you a moment to pause,
To reconnect with your inner strength and to find calm,
Whether you're at work,
In your car,
On a walk or just needing a moment to reset.
Let's begin.
Find a place that feels right.
Allow your eyes to gently close and take a deep breath in,
Hold it and slowly exhale it from your mouth.
Let's do that again,
Deep breath in,
Hold it and a long exhale.
Feel the weight of your body,
The solid support beneath you.
Let your breath slow,
Let everything slow.
Now,
Picture yourself beneath the tall,
Steady oak tree,
Its roots run deep,
Anchoring you to the earth,
Connecting you to mother nature,
To source.
As you breathe,
On each exhale,
Allow your tension to release.
Let it flow down into the roots.
As you exhale,
Allow your tension to release,
Flowing down into the roots.
And as you inhale,
Draw in the stillness of the tree.
Feel its quiet strength become yours.
Now take on the energy from the sunlight through the branches and exhale what no longer serves you.
Repeat,
I release what I cannot control,
I embrace calm within.
Feel yourself grounded,
Steady,
Supported,
Just like the tree.
Now take a final deep breath in,
Roll your shoulders,
Roll your neck and exhale through your mouth.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes and embrace the calm,
Resilient,
Present.
