Meditation Timer OnlineTara Bass offers tools, skills, and guidance for personal healing, self-compassion, presence, connection, and clarity. She utilizing creativity, collaboration, and safety in all the work that she engages in. Tara is Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 2 trained and a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher through the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. She has been a mental health professional for 15 years, has worked as an administrator at a meditation retreat center in Vermont serving hundreds of participants each year, and is a previous educator in the New York City public school system. Tara has created self-paced, online programs including: "Self Care = Self Knowing", a mindfulness based program to develop tools for self care for mental health professionals, healthcare providers and educators, and "Introduction to Mindfulness," a self paced, online course for anyone interested in starting mindfulness meditation practice. Tara is also meditation instructor within the Shambhala Buddhist lineage and has had her own personal meditation practice since 2008.
