Welcome to Seed and Sage.
I'm Tamron Jewell and this is Commute Ready,
A nervous system reset for the road.
Remember to keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel.
Now let's begin with the reset.
For the next few minutes,
This is simply a chance to slow your system down before the day asks more of you.
It's a moment to come back to yourself.
You don't need to solve anything right now.
Just breathe,
Drive,
And let yourself arrive a little more fully today.
I don't know what your morning looked like,
But I have a feeling you were already taking care of someone else.
Or everyone else before you got here.
Maybe that's become so normal you barely notice it anymore.
So right now,
Let this moment belong to you.
Take a slow breath in through your nose for 4.
And one more small breath on top.
For two.
Now let it out slowly,
A long exhale for six.
Good.
Again.
In for four,
Small breath on top for two.
And slowly out for six.
That's it.
Your body knows what to do.
Let your shoulders soften a bit.
Easier grip on the wheel.
And notice the seat beneath you.
You're here and your body is supported by that seat.
You have a moment to give back to yourself.
And you deserve this.
Cherish these few minutes of time breaking from the busyness of the chaos of the day.
You're right here where you are meant to be.
Right here,
Right now.
Driving,
Breathing,
Arriving.
Sometimes we leave ourselves behind without even realizing it.
It happens ever so slowly.
By responding to everything around us without ever thinking to check in with ourselves.
This is your return.
You are allowed to show up exactly as you are today.
You spend so much of your life responding to what others need.
Just remember.
You are a person inside this life too.
Take one more breath.
Slow inhale.
For four.
Long exhale for six.
God.
And as you head back into the rest of your day,
Let's see if there's one small thing you can do.
That keeps you connected to yourself.
Maybe it's slowing down once.
Maybe it's eating lunch in a quiet space.
Maybe it's saying no to something your body already knows is too much.
Today.
Try just one thing to stay connected to yourself.
And that's enough.
You were carrying a lot when you got into the car.
Maybe you still are.
But for a few minutes.
You remembered yourself to.
Hold on to that.
As you walk into the day today.
