Hi there.
I'm Anne-Marie Sound Yogi.
Welcome to this five-minute sonic reset,
A short guided practice to help you arrive,
Release tension,
And reconnect with your body through breath and sound.
Take a moment to settle wherever you are.
Sit or stand comfortably.
Feel your feet on the ground and your hands resting naturally.
Notice your body,
The points of contact,
And the space around you.
We'll begin with the archer breath inspired by Dan Brule.
As you inhale through your nose,
Imagine drawing back the string of a bow.
Feel the breath expanding through your ribs,
Chest,
And back.
At the top of the inhale,
Take a small extra sip of air,
Like anchoring the arrow.
Then exhale slowly through your mouth with a gentle sigh,
Releasing the tension,
And imagine the arrow flying softly through the air.
Repeat this breath eight times,
Inviting a little more ease and release with each round.
Now allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm.
Coming back to a place of ease,
No effort.
Bring your awareness to the sounds around you.
If it feels comfortable,
Create a soft hum on your exhale.
I invite you now to take some gentle movement to slowly reawaken.
Wiggle your fingers,
Your toes,
Open the eyes.
You can move your head a little side to side for any movement that feels right.
Take a final moment to notice how your body feels.
Remember that you can return to this reset at any time.
