This is Jo from Soul Essence Therapy and Life Coaching.

Please do not listen to this recording while driving or operating machinery.

Find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed,

So that you get the greatest benefit from this meditation today.

In this meditation we will connect with your spirit or ancestral guide for wisdom and clarity.

Getting comfortable in your chair,

With your feet flat on the floor and your hands resting in your lap.

Gently closing your eyes and going within.

Becoming aware of your breathing,

The inflow and outflow of your breath.

Holding the intention of completely emptying your lungs on the out-breath.

And then allowing your belly to relax on the in-breath.

So that your lungs can easily fill with pure fresh air.

Your belly is relaxing and expanding on the in-breath.

Allowing your lungs to completely fill with life-giving air.

And then it's contracting slightly on the out-breath.

Helping to push the used stale air out of your lungs.

Making sure you really focus on completely emptying your lungs of stale used air.

Allowing fresh air to enter on the in-breath.

Set the intention to just be in the now.

To be relaxed,

Comfortable and at peace for the next little while.

As you sit in silence and stillness.

This is time for you.

Time to let go of your day.

Or of anything that is stressing,

Worrying or troubling you.

Let it go.

Put it down.

Even imagining a small rubbish bin by your feet.

Intend any stress into the bin for now.

You can deal with anything important later.

Noticing now your feet and how they are connected to the floor or the ground.

Your connection to Mother Earth.

A beautiful,

Grounding,

Safe and loving connection.

Feel her energy,

Her love,

Warmth and wisdom.

Drawing that energy up now through the bottom of your feet.

Into your feet,

Toes,

Ankles.

Giving your feet and toes a wriggle to release any tension held there.

Noticing the muscles and tendons relaxing,

Releasing and unwinding.

And now drawing up into your shins and calves.

Feeling that warm,

Tingly energy.

Relaxing and releasing any tension held in the muscles.

And then noticing the energy from Mother Earth as it continues its journey.

Up your legs,

Into your knees.

Relaxing and releasing any tension held there.

Along with any blockages.

Your knees are connected to moving forward.

Just notice if there is anything energetically held there that may be blocking this.

And let the healing energy clear and release it,

Gently and easily.

Following the energy now as it moves into your belly and lower back.

Allow it to detox and heal all of your internal organs.

So that they are returned to 100% perfect health.

Functioning exactly as they were designed to do.

Drawing the energy now into the base of your spine.

And allowing it to flow all the way up your back and spine.

Relaxing and releasing any pain,

Any tight muscles or any tension held there.

And at the same time strengthening and straightening,

Healing and aligning each muscle and vertebrae to perfect alignment and health.

Allow the warmth and healing to flow out from your spine,

Across your lower back and then into the muscles of your mid-back and waist.

And then into your upper back and shoulder blades.

And now it moves into your chest and heart and lungs.

Healing,

Relaxing and allowing perfect health.

Over your shoulders and into your neck now.

The place where most of us hold tension.

Just moving your head from side to side or front to back if it helps.

Allowing any tension to release and let go.

And now the healing energy from other earth flows down over your shoulders,

Into your arms,

Through your elbows,

Forearms and wrists.

And into your hands and fingers.

Notice any tension and stress gently pushed out the end of your fingers and transmuted to love and light.

Shifting your awareness now back to your neck and allowing the energy to move out over the back of your head and flow up over your scalp.

Massaging away any tension held there.

Flowing over your forehead,

Smoothing the frown lines and wrinkles away.

And then over your eyes,

Your cheeks,

Your ears,

Nose and mouth.

Allowing all of the facial muscles to relax and let go.

Lastly focusing on your jaw.

Have you been tensing it today?

Noticing any tension held there and allowing it to release as the warm loving energy from Mother Earth flows into that area.

Now that you are completely relaxed,

Comfortable and at peace.

Just shift your awareness to your heart.

Connect to your heart.

Drop into your heart.

And thinking of three things that you are grateful for today.

Three simple things that you are truly grateful for.

Allowing the feeling of gratitude to grow in your heart and expand out through your whole body and into your aura.

I would now like you to imagine you are standing on the edge of a beautiful forest on a lovely sunny day.

The warmth of the sun shining on your face.

Blue sky overhead with just a few white fluffy clouds moving gently in the breeze.

Notice that you are standing on a pathway that leads into the forest.

Noticing the difference between where you are standing in the sunshine and the cool,

Dim shelter of the forest.

Notice the pathway you are standing on that leads into the forest.

Move along the pathway now.

Stepping into the coolness of the forest.

The bright sunshine.

Making way for dappled light through the branches and leaves of the ancient trees overhead.

Looking down at your feet and the pathway.

It's covered in leaf litter from the trees.

And there are small and medium bushes on either side of the path.

Undergrowth providing homes for birds and insects.

Noticing the brown wrinkled bark of the ancient majestic trunks of the trees stretching high into the air.

And the smoother,

Lighter bark on the younger saplings as they race for the sky to catch up with the ancient trees.

Listen for the sounds of the birds as they chatter to each other during their search for food for the day.

Watch them as they make their nests or feed their young.

Colourful butterflies flip through the forest creating splashes of blue and yellow and orange.

The pathway opens into a clearing with a soft mossy covering.

You may choose to take your shoes off to walk over the moss connecting to the earth and grounding your energy even further.

Looking up you notice in the centre of the clearing a small wooden cottage.

Smoke drifting lazily from a red brick chimney on one end of the cottage.

A vegetable garden sits off to the side and the rest of the garden is filled with flowers blooming in the sunshine that reaches through into the clearing.

This is a safe space,

Warm and welcoming.

Walk up the front steps onto the wooden veranda noticing the solid heavy wooden door with black metal hinges and a latch.

Reaching out and lifting the latch the door slides open silently on well-oiled hinges.

Stepping inside and allowing your eyes to adjust to the dim light you look around and see a fire burning in the fireplace crackling orange and red flames gently flickering and warming the room.

There are two soft comfortable chairs in front of the fire and you choose one to sink into relaxing down and knowing you are safe and protected.

Setting the intention now for your spirit or ancestral guide to join you and sit in the other chair knowing that whoever comes to visit you today is exactly right for now.

As they enter the room and sit down you notice who it is,

What they look like if you've met them before or not what they are wearing the kindness and love in their eyes and their gentle supportive energy.

You may even know what their name is or maybe they introduce themselves.

I'm going to give you a few minutes now to sit and communicate with your guide in any way you choose.

You may have questions you may ask for help or support or simply take in any wisdom they share with you today.

It is now time to thank your guide for visiting today and for all they have shared with you.

They have a final parting gift for you.

Reach out your hand and they place the gift into your hand.

Notice what they have given you again feeling gratitude and thanking them.

You can hold this gift in your heart for as long as you need it.

Your guide bids farewell and leaves the cottage and after one last look around knowing you can come back here anytime you choose you stand,

Walk towards the door lifting the latch and opening the door stepping out of the comfortable cottage and closing the door gently behind you stepping down off the veranda walking across the soft green cooled moss back to the pathway that leads out of the forest following it as it winds through the greens and browns of the trees and bushes to the edge of the forest where you step out into the sunshine again feeling completely relaxed and calm grateful for the wisdom from your guide knowing you can call on them for support and guidance anytime you need.

Bringing your awareness back to your breathing now the in and out flow of your breath as your lungs fill with life-giving air each time you breathe in the calmness,

Relaxation and learnings from your guide still with you as you notice the sounds in the room the feeling of the chair beneath you and your feet on the floor gently wriggling your fingers and toes and bringing your awareness back into your body and back into the room healed and whole relaxed,

Peaceful and calm when you are ready bringing yourself fully back into your body gently opening your eyes and having a big stretch or if you choose,

You may gently drift off into a deep and relaxing sleep
