Hello my name is Annabelle and today we're going to be looking at the heart chakra or the anahata chakra.

This is placed in the center of your chest just where your heart is and this chakra is one of the most important as it's in charge of how magnetic you are.

It is also known as the bridge between the physical and the spiritual realms.

So it's where we allow that divine guidance to come in and it's where our intuition comes from.

This is the center for love,

For compassion and for emotional balance.

When we're looking at what body parts this chakra is responsible for obviously we are starting with the heart itself but it doesn't stop there.

We're also looking at the lungs,

The chest as well as our arms and hands.

It is known that our left hand is all about how we receive love,

Our right arm is how we give love and looking at our shoulders we look at whether we're feeling the weight of the world.

So adding that in to the next time that you get a sore arm a sore shoulder looking at the right shoulder for instance I feel a lot of weight of the world and how I give love to people.

Maybe that could be family or work stress.

Looking at the left shoulder maybe a partner is being too affectionate in a way that you may not be used to and you're not sure how to receive that love so finding peace in that and learning from your body because that is all our emotion and our pain is trying to get us to do.

Draw our attention so we can learn and grow.

So looking at a few different imbalances if we have an underactive heart chakra physically that looks like we're often slumped over our shoulders are in front of our chest physically trying to hold our breath physically trying to hide our heart and protect ourselves when you have an under active heart chakra it may be a lack of empathy a fear of intimacy and letting people in which can lead to a lot of relationship problems as well as emotional coldness having a fear of letting anyone in and feeling like it's better to be alone this may manifest as heart issues or lung issues whereas an overactive heart chakra may look like codependency self-sacrificing martyrism as well as possessiveness over others so finding a balance between that of being warm to people empathetic intimate however maintaining a sense of individuality as well understanding that your needs matter and that you're not alone so to others so compromising when you need to however not being overly self-sacrificing allowing people in lovingly however not allowing every single person in finding a balance between over giving and under giving and belief system around the heart chakra is all about feeling lovable so looking at when do you feel most lovable how do you feel love from others looking at how do you show love to people and you can learn this in the love languages test which you can find online and looking at where do i feel fearful of receiving love and remember that love comes in quite a lot of energies it can be attention can be money can be validation can be being seen looking at where you feel safe and where you feel unsafe receiving and also giving where there's resentment and a lack mindset return to balance in this chakra using the mudra and mantra meditation
