Hello and welcome,

My name is Annabelle and in today's meditation we are going to do an inner child regression.

For this we're going to touch our collarbones,

Breathe deeply and you're going to be guided through a visualization.

Now that you know exactly what to expect it's time to get comfortable.

Remember to enter into this space with an open mind,

Maybe something will come up and maybe it won't.

But just taking the time to be with yourself opens the doorway of possibility.

So taking a seat,

Getting comfortable,

Rolling your shoulders down your back.

If it feels comfortable,

I invite you to close your eyes and start to focus on your breath,

Breathing in and out of your nose.

Feeling your belly rise and fall with each breath.

There is nowhere else you need to be right now.

It is safe to connect to yourself.

The subconscious only ever shows you as deep as you are able to go.

In yoga it's said that the inner child portal is on our collarbones.

So I invite you to place your fingertips on your collarbones,

You can cross your hands over your chest or if you can keep your right hand on your right collarbone and left hand on your left collarbone.

And slowly and gently start to rub from your shoulder all the way down to the break between your collarbones,

Then gliding your hands back up.

Going at a pace that feels good for you,

Not adding too much pressure,

Being really soft.

I want you to keep your hands gently gliding up and down your collarbones.

For the next few minutes.

While you're doing that,

I want you to breathe into your body.

Sending breath and life to this area.

Noticing how it feels.

Is there a sensation coming up in your body?

Are you noticing that you're feeling more alert or less alert?

Are you feeling softer or more solid?

Is there a color that's coming to mind for you?

Are you feeling spiky or rounded?

Cool or warm?

Now I want you to start to think back to a time in your childhood that you felt really safe.

It could be any age.

And I want you to just view you.

And I want you to just view you.

Just living your daily life.

Seeing the emotions run across your face.

Noticing what you're doing with your day.

How you're spending your time.

And who you're spending it with.

What is making you feel so safe right now?

Is there anything that the younger version of you needs right now?

Is there anything that they want to tell you?

Is there anything you want to tell them?

Now still stroking your collarbones.

Taking another deep breath.

And if they would like to,

That version of you can join you.

And if they would like to,

That version of you can join you for the rest of this visualization.

Or they can stay where they are,

Knowing that you love and support them.

Next,

I want you to think of yourself at any age when you're really,

Really happy.

What made you so excited and happy?

What age were you?

Is there anyone that you got to share your happiness with?

Who did you first want to tell that you are happy to?

What did happiness in younger you feel like and look like?

Did you keep it inside or did you share your happiness with the world?

Is there anything this version of you wants to tell you?

Is there anything that you want to share with the rest of the world?

Is there anything that you need to tell them?

And reconnecting with your breath.

Touching your collarbones again.

Asking if this version of you wants to join you.

And now thinking of a time in your life when you needed help.

Was there anyone to turn to?

How did it feel when you needed help for something?

What did you do?

How are they feeling?

How are they finding support?

Is there anything that they want to tell you?

Is there anything that you want to tell them?

Does this version of you want to come with you?

Is there anything that you need to tell them?

Knowing they are loved and supported.

Even when they are met with challenges.

Taking a deep breath.

Now imagining yourself,

Today's self,

In front of a mirror.

You could be surrounded by younger versions of yourself.

Now I want you to think and visualize yourself through every age.

From being just an hour old.

Chubby cheeks.

Big eyes.

Growing into a toddler.

Growing into a little child.

Your hand's still smaller than your palm,

Currently.

Growing bigger through a teenager.

Seeing yourself transform through all these stages.

You notice that time keeps going and you keep changing.

Noticing as you start to get older that there's so much more to be done.

That parts of you are left behind.

You're always gaining new things,

New versions of yourself.

Then it gets to your age.

You're looking at yourself and then you keep molding.

Being your future self.

Noticing how your face is changing slightly.

As is your style.

As is your hair.

Noticing all the subtle differences that make you so beautiful and so you.

As you continue to age.

Seeing more and more of your future.

Knowing that there is something always the same about you.

There's always your essence.

There is always your soul and your spark.

No matter what you choose,

Where you go,

Your soul is always there.

Taking a deep breath.

Finding love and gratitude in your heart for every single version of yourself that you have been and that you will be.

Knowing you and your soul and your essence will be there for every single part of that journey.

Taking a deep breath.

And then slowly coming back into your body.

Coming back into the room.

Noticing what parts of your body is sitting.

Noticing what parts of your body is sitting and being supported.

Starting to slowly move your fingers and toes.

Bending and flexing your feet.

With your eyes still closed,

I invite you to bring your hands together into prayer pose.

Rubbing them back and forth.

Creating heat.

Creating energy.

Then opening your palms,

Placing them on your eyes and slowly blinking open.

Before placing your hands on your heart.

Take a deep breath.

And repeat after me.

I love every version of myself.

I am in the exact right place.

Thank you so much for turning up for yourself today.

I'll see you in another meditation soon.
