Hello and welcome.
I'm so glad you're starting your day here.
Before anything else gets your attention,
Before the world rushes in,
We're going to wake the body up from the inside.
This is an energising breathwork practice.
It's active,
It's rhythmic,
And it will leave you feeling genuinely alive for whatever the day brings.
So here's how it works.
We take 30 rapid full breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Two counts each way.
After the last breath we exhale completely and hold for about 30 seconds.
Although if you do want to hold it for longer you can pause the video at that point.
Then we take a recovery breath and hold that too for about 15 seconds.
We'll do three rounds of all of this.
It's normal to feel a little light-headed or tingly that's just the oxygen doing its work.
If at any point you need to stop.
Never do this in water,
Driving or anywhere you can't safely relax.
So feel free to close your eyes,
Keep them open or just soften them.
Whatever makes you most comfortable.

So make sure you're somewhere comfortable to sit or lie down.
