Hello and welcome to this meditation for balancing your root chakra.
Find a comfortable position either sitting or lying down,
Whatever brings you the most comfort.
Gently close your eyes and allow your hands to rest comfortably on your lap or by your sides.
Take a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs completely.
Exhale slowly,
Releasing any tension you may be holding.
Take another deep breath in,
And with each exhale,
Feel your body relax more deeply into the ground beneath you.
During this meditation,
You will connect to the energy of the earth,
Stabilizing your foundation and bringing you a sense of safety and grounding.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice the rise and fall of your chest with each inhale and exhale.
Let your breath be steady and natural.
Let your breath bring you to the present moment.
With every inhale,
Feel the air nourishing you.
With each exhale,
Feel yourself releasing any stress,
Worry,
Or tension,
Allowing them to melt away as you feel your body being held by the ground beneath you.
Begin to visualize yourself sitting in a beautiful summer garden.
The most magnificent flowers and trees surround you.
You can hear the birds singing and the hum of busy bees dancing from flower to flower.
The radiant summer sun shines on your skin and fills you with a sense of peace and security.
As you sit in this healing summer garden,
Begin to shift your attention to the area at the base of your spine,
The location of your root chakra.
It is here that your sense of safety,
Stability,
And connection to the earth resides.
As you breathe,
Imagine that with every inhale,
You are breathing in stability,
And with each exhale,
You are releasing any feelings of insecurity or fear.
Visualize a vibrant red energy swirling gently at the root of your being.
This red light represents your root chakra,
The center of your foundation,
Stability,
And security.
See this red energy glowing warmly like a flame or a glowing crystal at the base of your spine.
With every breath,
Imagine the red light growing brighter and stronger,
Expanding outward,
Anchoring you to the earth below.
Visualize roots of a tree extending from the base of your spine,
Going deep into the earth.
These roots spread out,
Reaching through the layers of soil,
Past rocks,
And into the center of the earth.
With each breath,
Feel your roots growing deeper,
Anchoring you firmly to the earth.
Mother Earth Feel your connection to the earth becoming stronger.
Imagine the earth's energy rising up through these roots,
Nourishing you with a sense of safety and groundedness.
Mother Earth Feel the earth's energy,
Stable,
Strong,
And supportive,
Flowing into your body through your root chakra.
Allow this energy to fill you with a sense of calm and reassurance.
With every breath,
You feel more supported and secure,
Knowing that you are firmly rooted to Mother Earth,
Gaia.
Let this grounding energy rise from the earth into your body,
Filling your legs,
Your torso,
Your heart,
And your mind.
Feel its warmth and strength.
Allow it to bring balance to any areas of your body or life that may be feeling uncertain or unsteady.
Now silently repeat these affirmations to yourself,
Allowing their energy to settle deep within you.
I am grounded,
Secure,
And stable.
I trust in the process of life.
I am supported by the earth beneath me.
I am worthy of safety,
Security,
And abundance.
I am rooted in the present moment.
I am safe.
I am whole.
I am at peace.
I am grounded,

Take a few deep breaths,
And slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment,
Feeling the stability and safety that now reside within you.
When you are ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Bringing some movement back into your body.
When you are ready,
Stretch your arms overhead.
Take one deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Slowly open your eyes.
