Sometimes, we get caught in the trap of comparison — feeling like we’re not enough, or that we’re falling behind. This meditation invites you to simply notice those feelings without judgment. You don’t have to fix anything, just observe with kindness. As you breathe, you’ll slowly let go of the pressure and embrace the truth that your path is unique to you.

Welcome.

I'm so happy you're here.

Take a moment to arrive fully,

To land gently in this space you've created for yourself.

Begin by finding a comfortable position.

Perhaps seated,

Lying down,

Or even standing if that feels most supportive.

Let your body guide you to what feels most nourishing in this moment.

When you feel settled,

Take a slow,

Intentional breath in.

Feeling the air move through your body.

And as you exhale,

Release any tension,

Any holding,

Even if just a little bit.

There is no need to force.

Simply allow.

Now,

Bring awareness to your breath.

Is it deep or shallow?

Steady or uneven?

Simply observe without needing to change anything.

As you continue breathing,

Gently notice,

Are there areas of your body that feel at ease?

Are there places holding tension?

What emotions or thoughts are present right now?

Whatever you find,

Know that it is okay.

You are simply witnessing what is here,

Without judgment,

Without the need to fix or resist.

Now,

I invite you to turn your awareness toward a moment when comparison crept in.

Maybe when you felt behind,

Unworthy,

Or not enough.

If it feels safe to do so,

Let this memory surface gently,

As if you are observing a cloud passing in the sky.

There is no need to engage or get lost in it.

Just notice.

Maybe it showed up while scrolling on social media,

In a conversation,

Or in a quiet moment of self-reflection.

However it appeared,

Recognize that comparison is not a reflection of your worth.

It's just a learned pattern,

One that can be released.

Now ask this part of you with curiosity,

What do you need me to know?

What do you need me to know?

Maybe it longs for validation,

Safety,

Or reassurance that you are on the right path.

Whatever comes up,

Let's try and welcome it with kindness.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Imagine gently loosening your grip on comparison,

Allowing it to soften,

To dissolve like mist in the morning sun.

Now shift your awareness to abundance,

Not as something to chase,

But as something already present within and around you.

With each inhale,

Imagine breathing in trust,

Expansion,

And possibility.

With each exhale,

Release comparison,

Scarcity,

And self-doubt.

If it feels comforting,

Place one hand over your heart and feel its steady rhythm.

A reminder that you are here,

You are whole,

You are enough.

I invite you to repeat softly in your mind or out loud,

I honor my own path.

There is space for me.

There is enough for me.

I trust in my unique timing.

I am open to receiving abundance in all forms.

As we come to a close,

Take a deep,

Nourishing breath in,

And a slow,

Steady breath out.

Gently wiggle your fingers or your toes,

And if your eyes were closed,

Allow them to open softly.

Carry this knowing within you.

Your path is unfolding exactly as it should.

What is meant for you will never miss you.

Thank you for sharing this moment with me.
