Welcome to your Full Moon Guided Release Meditation.
When you are ready,
Find a comfortable seat under the full moon if you can,
Otherwise indoors or in your bed.
Make sure that your back is nice and straight.
Before we start we're going to do a little bit of pranayama,
Which is breath work.
So I want us to just take a few breaths to ground and centre ourselves before we begin with this meditation.
You are more than welcome to close your eyes during this pranayama work,
But if you want to leave them open that's fine too.
So let's start by taking a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs,
Your abdomen,
Your stomach,
And then release,
Allowing your breath to completely empty out of your body.
You are going to now do a breathing technique called the square breath or box breathing.
This helps to heighten your concentration and is a powerful stress reliever.
So when we are ready,
You are going to take a deep breath to the count of four.
We're going to hold it for the count of four,
Then release it for the count of four,
And then again hold it out for the count of four.
I'm going to talk you through this for the first two rounds and then you can carry on in your own time.
So let's start taking a deep breath in,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And hold,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Breathe out,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And hold,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Breathe in,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Release,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And hold,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Continue now for a while in your own time,
Just focusing on your breath,
Nothing else.
Finding yourself grounded,
Letting the stress drip away.
Now as we return to our normal or subconscious breathing,
Allow your eyes to close.
I want you to really relax,
Try to notice your thoughts,
But don't latch onto them.
Meditation is not about stopping our thoughts,
But rather allowing them to float by.
Focus on the sonoma voice and just let your thoughts pass by.
Now let's do a little breathing meditation.
So with every breath in,
You're going to visualize a cleansing white light entering through your crown,
Filling up your body from your head,
Down through your chest,
Your stomach,
Your legs,
And eventually down to your toes.
With each breath out,
Imagine any negative or bad energies leaving the body and repeat the words,
I am letting go.
Breathing in that beautiful,
Clear,
White,
Energizing energy and breathing out any negative,
Bad energies,
Repeating the words,
I am letting go.
Repeat this visualization with every breath that you take.
It's time to let go,
To let go of what no longer serves you,
To let go of all that brings you uncertainty,
Fear,
Anger,
Or resentment.
To let go of the people who don't deserve a place in your life,
To let go of the habits that don't align with the higher version of yourself that you aspire to be.
At some point,
You just have to let go and move on.
It might be the hardest thing in the world to do,
But you have to summon all of the strength you possibly can to finally let go.
Some people and things just aren't going to be meant for you,
No matter how much you wish they were.
Some jobs and situations just won't work out,
No matter how much you hoped they would.
But know that it's okay for things to not work out.
Nobody's life is a straight line that makes perfect sense.
Everybody has twists and turns,
And everyone has to turn around every now and then.
So when you find yourself wishing and hoping,
Things out of your control would change.
Summon all of your strength to let go and start heading in a new direction,
Because it will lead you closer to your true path.
Always remember that when you let go,
You create space for something better.
Now let's repeat some cleansing and releasing affirmations,
Either out loud or in your head,
To help you with the things you need to cleanse from your life and release.
I let go of what no longer serves me.
I release all limiting beliefs.
I release self-doubt.
I let go of fear.
I release attachment to outcome.
I release toxic friendships.
I let go of relationships that no longer serve my highest good.
I let go of worry.
I release lack and know that the universe is abundant.
I let go of negativity.
I release all that is not in alignment with my soul's path.
Now I want you to slowly start shifting your tension or your focus from inward to outward.
Breathe deeply a few times with long inhales and long exhales.
Gently begin to bring movement back into your body.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Then slowly bring your hands together and thank yourself for taking the time to focus on you,
For allowing your mind to relax and begin to let go of all that no longer serves you.
