Hot Air Balloon Ride by R.
M.
Bodie.
Please join me for this exciting and extraordinary hot air balloon ride.
My name is Bodie and I will be your hot air balloon guide.
Before we take off for our majestical flight,
Please allow me to show you a few things if I might.
The hot air balloon has three major parts.
Join me inside the hot air balloons basket.
That's where our adventure starts.
Above the basket you'll find the burner which is an essential component for taking flight.
It heats the air to allow lift maintained by propane when you give it a light.
The burner blows hot air into the big balloon called an envelope.
The strong ripstop material is connected to the basket with cables and rope.
Now that you know a little bit more,
Let's get ready for takeoff.
It's time to explore.
Our epic journey will begin when you close your eyes and start to imagine.
Choose a very special place filled with beauty,
Wonder,
And grace.
Here we are floating up with the fluffy clouds flying so peacefully and quiet above the bustling crowds.
When you look out over there,
What do you see?
Wow,
That sure does look like the Great Pyramid of Giza to me.
Such an awe-inspiring sight for us to experience and share.
Look,
The magical and mysterious Sphinx rests right over there.
Now let us choose another site to see.
We can fly anywhere you choose to be.
Ah,
What a magnificent and ancient site.
Such an amazing achievement to build a city at such a great height.
Below is the ancient Inca city called Machu Picchu,
Way up in the mountaintops in a country today called Peru.
Next stop in the Yucatan is the ancient Maya city Chichen Itza I see.
Another beautiful site,
A memory of a culture rich in wisdom and history.
Our next view,
Floating above the luscious forest filled with trees,
It's the world's second largest rainforest called Congolese.
Spanning across six countries on the continent of Africa is this place many animals call home.
Look around at all of the elephants,
Gorillas,
And buffaloes that roam.
It looks like we have time for one more stop.
Shall we travel to Niagara Falls or a Himalayan mountaintop?
Here we are.
It's Easter Island that I see.
In isolated island,
An ancient people knew as Rapa Nui.
The island is protected by huge stone statues of beings called the Moai.
An absolutely awe-inspiring sight to see from this perspective floating in the sky.
As we wrap up our world tour,
I'm so glad that we had this time for our imagination to explore.
As we return back home and float back down to the ground,
We are feeling tired and ready to sleep peacefully and sound.
Thank you for joining me on this magical hot air balloon flight.
May your dreams be filled with the memories of our imagination site.
