We repeat bad habits because they are etched in our subconscious. Starting from that deep zone, we will replace the compulsion of those habits with something that is less restrictive - thereby giving us more freedom.

Welcome to Breaking Bad Habits Meditation.

This is Raimi from Create Balance Method.

Thank you for joining me today.

Let's start by taking some deep inhales through the nose and exhales out through the mouth.

I want your inhales to be a count of two and your exhales to be a count of four.

Inhaling for one,

Two,

Exhaling for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Please keep this going.

Finishing up.

Now we inhale for four counts.

Hold for four.

Exhale through mouth for four and inhale also for four.

Hold again for four.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Inhale.

And release.

Just allowing your weight to melt into the ground or your chair.

Scanning your body for any tightness maybe in your jaw,

Back of your neck,

Shoulders or back.

Sending some softness,

Melting,

Allowing the muscles to ease out.

Allowing yourself to just rest and relax even more as we go along this meditation.

Once you are a lot more soft,

I want you to think of a bad habit that you would like to break.

This is bad in quotation marks and can be something big,

Medium or small.

Go with the first thing that comes to mind.

Why do you want to break this habit?

How is it making your life inconvenient now?

Without this habit,

How would your life be?

How much freedom would you have?

How much more peace of mind would it bring you?

I want you to see this in as much detail as you can.

Now,

I want you to ask yourself what are some of the immediate ways you can go about breaking this habit.

Maybe it involves a mental shift or an understanding.

Maybe it involves immediate action.

Maybe it involves replacing all habits with something that is new and that provides healthy satisfaction.

Ask yourself to show you what are some ways to navigate so that you can break this habit once and for all and stay open to what is shown.

Allowing any further insight to arrive to you either now,

Later today,

This week,

Simply because the intention to receive has been set.

And now starting to deepen your inhales.

Connecting back with your body as it sits or lays still.

Wiggling your fingers and opening your eyes.

I suggest repeating this meditation for each habit you would like to release fully.

Thank you for joining me today.
