Welcome my friend.
Take a moment to find a quiet and comfortable space where you won't be disturbed.
You can really soak up this meditative practice.
You might sit or lie down in a relaxed position,
Closing your eyes gently or just finding a soft gaze.
And take a few deep breaths to settle into the present moment.
Worry is a natural part of being human,
And this meditation is designed to help you cultivate a sense of calm and peace.
We'll acknowledge the presence of worry without judgment,
And find a way to soothe the inner waters of our mind and nervous system.
Bring your attention to your breath,
Inhaling slowly through your nose,
Feeling the breath fill your lungs,
And exhale through your mouth,
Releasing any and all tension.
Allow your breath to be a source of comfort and a sense of grounding.
Now shift your focus to your body and with each breath,
Consciously release tension.
Start from your toes and gradually move up to the top of your head,
Allowing worry to dissipate with each exhale.
Now visualize worries,
Worries circling throughout your mind and body and heart as bubbles rising up from within.
Each bubble represents a specific worry or concern.
And just watch as those bubbles rise and allow them to gently float away,
Or maybe even burst.
As you continue to breathe,
See these bubbles disappearing into the vastness,
Leaving you with a sense of lightness,
With a sense of space.
And I invite you to repeat these affirmations to yourself as you observe those worry bubbles rising and dissipating.
I release worries,
Embracing the present moment.
I am resilient and I trust in my ability to navigate challenges.
With each breath,
I find peace within.
Return your focus now to your breath,
Inhaling tranquility,
And exhaling worry.
Again,
Inhale tranquility and exhale worry.
With each breath,
Allow yourself permission to feel 5% calmer.
With each breath,
5% calmer.
Releasing any lingering worries with each and every exhale.
Start to bring your awareness back to your body.
Coming back to the present moment,
Noticing sensations,
Sounds,
And feelings around you.
Embrace the simplicity and beauty of the now,
Letting go of worries about the past or the future.
As you're ready,
Perhaps start to wiggle the fingers and toes.
Coming back to the present moment,
Coming back to your surroundings.
And I hope this guided meditation might be a source of peace and tranquility as you release worry and embrace the present moment.
Be well.
