Welcome.
I'm so glad you're here.
This is your Mandala Card of the Day.
An opportunity to reset,
To focus.
To clarify what's meaningful for you.
A simple space to pause Clear mental overwhelm and reconnect with what matters.
Before we begin,
I invite you to have a journal or a blank page nearby,
Along with a pen.
This session includes some time for journaling.
This is your time.
A moment to come back to yourself so you can move through your day with more clarity and calm.
Let's begin by arriving fully in this moment.
Gently close your eyes if that feels comfortable.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Let your hands rest wherever they feel at ease.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And a soft breath out through your mouth.
Again,
Inhaling.
And exhale.
Releasing any tension you're holding One more time,
A slow breath in.
And a longer breath out.
Now allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
No need to control it.
Just notice the rise and fall of your breath.
The gentle movement of your body.
And with each exhale,
Allow your mind to settle just a little bit more.
If your attention has been scattered or pulled in different directions,
This is your invitation to gather it back.
Back to your breath.
Back to your body,
Back to yourself.
And from this grounded place,
We'll move into today's reflection.
The theme for today is joyful focus.
As Mary Oliver wrote.
Tell me.
What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
Let that land.
Joyful focus.
Focus is the gift of choosing where your energy goes.
And it is a gift.
Because so much of our day is spent responding,
Reacting to what arrives,
Notifications,
Requests,
The worry that surfaces before you've even finished your first cup of coffee.
Our attention is scattered before we've had a chance to gather it.
Take a slow breath in.
At a soft breath out.
Focus is always available.
It doesn't require a perfect distraction-free environment.
It doesn't require that life stops making demands.
It is a return.
A gentle decision to come back to what matters.
Again and again,
As many times as the day requires.
And today,
We're adding something to that return.
We are adding joy.
Because focus doesn't have to feel rigid.
It doesn't have to feel like discipline or willpower or forcing yourself to be still It can feel like devotion,
Like presence.
Like saying to something or someone,
To some part of your life,
This is what I'm giving my attention to today.
This matters to me.
And I'm here for it.
And it brings me joy.
Think about something that genuinely lights you up.
Not the thing you think you should be focused on,
Not the most urgent item on your list,
But something that when you imagine giving it your full attention today,
It quietly lifts you up.
It gives you hope.
A creative project.
A relationship that deserves more of your presence.
A practice that makes you feel more like yourself.
A goal that excites you more than it frightens you.
Just let something come.
Now hold it gently.
Because what we focus on grows.
And today we are choosing to grow happiness.
We are choosing to let the noise soften in the background.
Not by fighting it.
Not by pushing it away.
But by choosing something with enough pull that the rest naturally fades.
Joy does that.
When you are genuinely absorbed in something that matters to you.
Something that feels alive and meaningful.
The distractions don't disappear.
But they lose their grip.
They bring you back into this moment.
I'll now offer you a journal prompt.
Take a few moments to write or simply reflect.
The prompt today is what is one joyful,
Meaningful thing that I want to give my full attention to today.
You might also consider.
What are the things I need to let go of?
To create more space for joyful focus.
You you you you Now it's time to bring that to a close.
I'll share an affirmation.
I'll say it first and I invite you to repeat it after me.
Focus is my gift.
Focus is my gift.
I choose where my energy goes.
I choose where my energy goes.
Today I focus on what brings me joy.
Today,
I focus on what brings me joy.
Distractions can soften and fade.
Distractions can soften and fade.
What I focus on grows,
And I'm growing happiness.
What I focus on grows,
And I'm growing happiness.
That is the end of the affirmation.
I invite you to take one deep breath in.
And a long breath out.
And when you're ready,
Gently return.
Carrying a focus on joy with you for the rest of your day.
